Welcome all to the game, and yes please remember to make your own decisions. That was probably the best piece of advice given. We each will have our own opinions, likes and dislikes. I would also recommend going to the mainland before making any rash decisions about quitting. There are many experienced and fun people on the main as well, that are more than willing to help with questions, whatever. Our guild, and many others, have offered to group with non-guildies and help them get a feel for the game, post patch, and how we make it work for us. It may work for you, it may not, but the offer is out there. The main thing about any game is to have fun. Are you having fun in Ryzom? Great! (I am) If not, then we wish you well in whatever you do.
See you soon!

Welcome all new members.

Yes I agree I believe it is very important that you decide for yourself.

Just play and have fun and judge for yourselves. Ask questions and most everyone is very helpful. We have lost people but than I think they would of left anyhow and this was just an excuse. After all you have to give time to changes. Yeah, a lot were hard but they are trying to remedy it.

Just enjoy and please stay with us. I love the game, have never thought about leaving it and will be here until server shuts down for good.

I've been playing since... yester-yester-yesterday, and I absoultly love the game.

Plus SoR has the nicest GM's you'll find in any MMORPG :)

Welcome new members! :)

I've had fun with this game from the first day I started playing and Im sure you will too. If however, you run into problems I beleive you will find the community very helpful.

Let me start with a little advice. Round out your char. early. This game is not like any other. You will need at least some of all the skills avalible. As you progress you will see why. For example, if you are a melee fighter you will need heal life, heal stam and even heal sap for grouping. And forage is a good safe way to rid yourself of a nasty cast of DP ietis.

Well have fun and see you in the game.
