Btw, water at your back doesn't garantee safety either. In one part of the lakes, the resources are near wandering NPCs that do chase you into the water.

Last time I checked also the portal to Enchanted Isles wasn't working. Maybe they fixed that.

There 2 portals to Enchanted Isle: one from Blackwater and one from Resting Waters. The last one works for sure but I haven't checked the other one in a while

AHA! that explains it, I didn't know there was one from resting waters. I had problem with the fount one, I couldn't get past the guards there. Bounty beaches was a death trap. Lagoons of loria was treacherous but I got there after maxing out my DP. I could not get through winds of muse either. I guess I'll have to go back and try each again now that I am over 100 in melee.
