Lol...

Spires is gonna be _lame_.

Imagine, 1/3 of the server is now neutral (unaffected by spires) and the other 2/3rds are Kara (still no problem here). Only the poor few diehards running every where. With Spires affecting _all_ Kami (even untagged) I think we can all consider them the death knell of Kami side.

Wow, someone just killed PvP.

some fall by the wayside and lose sight of the cause.

I will continue to attampt to give the karavan a fight, every victory I/we win will be a massive victory. The whole game is not PvP, and yes some can go play at grinding X skill or RP'ing till they run out of things to say in a funny voice ;) . Personally I'm not going to give up, I might be damn stupid, I might be a member of the guild that is the sole thing keeping the karavan united in their hate of us but I will continue to fight.

I prefer to keep my negative comments bout the kami side either personal or in some place that isnt a public forum. Hope you find a game wolfies where you can find balance and enjoy yourself I really do.

(would also like to see DT explain in his "high" RP master way healing untagged like he did............your a realy hero man)

not long ago...the kami where strong! almost undefeatable...and kara wont say its not true. But actualy this wasnt a player problem that kami bacame alot weaker, Nevrax could not provide the select people who had reached already ultimate goals in this game more content, and a game without more content is a game that will die.
Now, 5 months later, Kami are weak, all the best players of the server, MOSTLY(i dont sa all!) left the game, went to kara cause kami is boring or just log in for the heck of it and dont even fight decent anymore.

5 months ago, there where tactics, guilds played with ventrilo to communicate and basicly OWN atys...now i asked around since im looking for a decent home, there are no kami guilds or maybe very smalls 1s that dont recruit, that use ventrilo while playing...there goes a decent organisation.

At this point in the game, i came back, nevrax is providing little content at a time but im believing in it, hopeling we get decent high level content and the old kami world shall rise again due to old players comming back for the new content. Is it a fairy tail? who knows maybe im gone AGAIN in a month if nothing gets fixed decently.

My post bacame long enough now, 1 more thing....dont leave after 1 month of loosing etc, your 220 axe! grtz on that, nice work on 2 weeks of first play! maybe there are more of you outthere, what means kami get fresh decent warriors quick!maybe its not all lost yet!

sorry for big post ;-)
hardened wrote:The attack however was a different story, with our best efforts even though the turn out was suppose to be good, Karavan still out numbered by a lot (as I have counted 72 to 35) in fact they out number us so much they can send groups of people(9-12) to attack us way from the outpost, and still have enough back at home to defend)
this list is combination of 2 lists (one is from first battle, around 10min before guards, other list is about half way, when kami gave up)

if someone would tag these names as attacker/defender, it would be great ;-)

lol blaah strikes again, often with something decent to read. ;)
I was gunna mention that when I TPed in region and looked at the /who list I was slightly worried as there were more Kami at the time. But anyway, I'm sure the outpost guards will be the next thing somebody will come out with, and fair enough, BUT we (the attacking guild & helpers) also had to fight them at one point to take the thing lets not forget.

OK let me try to express all my thoughts using my poor language skills..
I don't wanna quote people who posted here to not give any reasons for flames. Also I think I might sound very harsh but recent events showed that some ppl need schock therapy.

1. The worst thing we see atm is too fast "education" of newcommers- they gain levels way too fast - no matter if they r druged by cats or guided by experienced players. They are torn from fun of exploring and learning. AoD or MMeleer after 3-6 weeks of power grind is the worst thing imo. So I say after 2 years of living on Atys- let them burnt and quit- thay experienced only grind and this is all thay see.
2. Kami community- this is not true that u not exist- there r loads of low and high lev players who r able to face Karavans..and even more when they get help from neutrals or even karavans who support a certain idea, goal ect.
The thing is IMHO that after Infinity quitting - which were a main example of power and "spiritus movens" for all political intrigues ect. (*bows to Bri The Puppets master ;* ), kami players lost their faith. If you were following whole history of quitting by kamis u could spotted that minority that were using forums frequently poisoned community by whining and flaming. From my point of view such posts only showed weaknes of people behind avatars and they RL fears and doubts.
So the thing looks like this : Karavan community on shard organised, trained, and after many hours of discusion, inspite guerrila tactic attacks within it's own ranks (infamous hijacking our forums and partialy quoting words w/o full context ect.). But the main thing that makes us growing and developing into atm strongest side is - TEAM WORK! yes we all try to set common , respected by all rules of sharing, helping and influence politics. For us there is not greed or behind curtain intrigues..we took the risk of non-selfishness relationships and we won.
And how did Kami side go while we were organising? Mates u started arguing, hiding cats, Ops mats and turning agains eachother. We all know that tehre r forces out there which could wipe at every GvG battle every single kara guild... (*coughs...and maybe a bit exaggerating atm lol*) but they exist!
Instead of trying to unite yourselves all of yoou building up ur treasury stockpilin supereme mats and slowly reaching toward end of your atysian journey beacuse of BOREDOME!

3. The FUTURE How I see it ? If Nervax will survive long enough, what I wish them from all my heart, we will see one of such scenarios :

a) Kami side will rethink all their recent achievement and start slowly rising in power. For this u need a strong leadership and some faith. I know many of you so I doubt if u will have any problems in finnding both of this things ;D

b) Kami side will keep dying ... and after 1-3 months Karavans will face void of being the most powerful force on Atys and..AND nothing.. cause I can bet some kind of inside fights might start and collapse of KA is possible which will also create new unknown playing style and maybe that days some kamis will start a resistance and will run guerrila war ;) Who knows ...

Anyway after all this stream of free thoughts that express my heart (hope some1 understood a part of it) I think the future of SoR is still bright and rly nothing to worry about ;)

P.S. If kami side would search thru shaddy black market they might find few old teachers who would help them train agains karas ;)
USE THE FORCE LUKE!!! ...wait..not this fairytale....USE THE FORCE WITHIN KAMI WARRIORS!

/tar community
/hugs , kisses

love u all

We as Infinity where the strongest on atys as a guild, not due to our skills! we leveled alot and had power, but more we had tactics, we didnt whipe with a select team of 9 against double kara and an OP NPC team...ive been to 2 OP fights since im back, i tryed to make the ppl clear what to do, none listens...after 3 hours eacht time im now thinking of really giving it up and hopeing that Bri and the gang gets bored in SWG and RFonline and gets there lazy asses back ingame, but i doubt that wil happen in the first upcomming year.

For me atm, and you can say i give up to fast or im lazy or whatever, there is no point anymore in fighting for OPs if there are no results booked after 2 fights, we whiped 2 times in the same way but still none listens or does something :/ Ill be out of OP fights till some kami get brains, listen and maybe even come to my ventrilo server as i asked some already. no vent no wint it is atm!

enough now whos next to throw his thoughts in? :p

I'd agree the kami side lacks tactics - sometimes - and has a few headless wonders that don't listen and always go charging in, but I'm paid to fight, not to command.

It really doesn't make that much difference in these instances though.

The Kara side IS bigger, more PvP motivated and so forth. The odds at the battles are usually at least 1.5 Kara to 1 Kami + hirling and that's what ultimately tips it. That a few Kami are headless chickens doesn't help because the smaller force can ill afford that kind of behaviour, but even when they're tight knit and actually working together, no real progress can be made. I've seen instances when they do everything right where it just hasn't helped.

To win rounds they need to be

a) At the site first.
b) Have merc and sympathiser help.
c) Preferably be in a firmly euro timezone or on a day that's a Euro holiday, but not a US one.

The regular trouncings are, of course, hurting morale a great deal. The lack of crystals means people aren't training up so fast in order to be able to compete, the lack of OP equipment means less crit weapons, special mittens, boosted equipment and so on - a minor power difference, but one all the same.

It all adds up.

To suggest that it is just tactics is rather facile.

youve seen the inf style...i remember inf holding the resin SN from freaking CoM and all its friends, we where with maybe 5 in dig gear, they where with all of our good friends pada its friends who even placed a nice aggro drag on us....we dug the spot final point.

you can maybe think its easy to put it on teh tactics...but if you are iwth 25 kami, 20 run around, half of it in melee gear tothe enemy and everywhere basicly around the OP, and 5 have the brains to stand ON eachother, i mean really almost IN eachother character and bombheal/nuke...if all of those 25 would do the stand on eachother and bombheal while maybe 4 melee take care of the brainless kara melees who charge in to make a useless hit on ppl who get 20heals/second...we wouldnt whipe thats fast take it from me! We wouldnt win offc either, but we wouldnt whipe and thats a decent start!

From that list I make it (as a guess)...

Attacker
28
Defender
36

Don't know
32

Don't know ones are any I'm not sure about, but I could swear I killed a couple in the last Op battle I was in.
