cool, agree with that no problems - dont like cheaters, and that (they way you worded it) can only be cheaters.

As for me... although i dont use cliffs... i am so low level i would run out of sap & HP long before the shala died, and it would regen to full health long before i did :P

hehe

I'm currently addicted to Frahars 1* Orange, give 1.4k - can solo them, and they drop q110 jewels which i can sell for 4k

So a win win, money and XP hehe

Best is when chat looks after mob kill like this:

1) cig
2) need cig break
3) need a cig
4) afk for a min

Still remember killing a green uberaggro (dunno name) in north Matis. Took all we got at our lvls. But we did it !

please could anybody tell me whats wrong with these people, who called themselve Gamemaster?

Till yesterday i thought they are kind, with some excluded like i got a warning, cos of an other problem (a little bit harder discussion with these "russian aliance".., where the other (leader grusper) only the things sended in a screenshots, that are important for him... (against me, for him) ... , but doesnt matter.... first warning, but... i have had anyway bad mood, so doesnt matter.

But like the situation before... i got a kick, cos an other guild, an other guildleader AND a GAMEMASTER, told bad things / maybe wrong, i dunno about me... a gamemaster.. are they there, to destroy guilds?

But a few days/weeks later, i never thought about it longer... but than... yesterday... aye... i was normaly playing at FF, killing Shalahs, and than anybody, who dont like me, like a lot of ppl, wrote a support tickte, that ii would do explotion (killing mobs, that cant attack me)... so a Gamemaster was comming (dont want to say the name) and standing behind me... 30 minutes.. then he/she said, he/she would go away, saw enough (that i am not making explotion) and 3 Minutes later... standing again behind me...

After that it was enough... i went to klient, and told... but after a short discussion i heard the suggest, that i ve maybe to read the rules, before playing (from a friendly gamemaster...) it was normaly okay, but to hard.. for me!

Short Questions:

Cause of my first warning.. are you waiting for a situation, where you can kick/ban me out of SoR?
Havent you to do better things like fix these Lags, as to wait for a reason? or as to tell somebody (ex-guild) bad things about me?
Whats wrong? Hate to me?
I often heard, that i am hated of most of ppl (realy) ... but is that fair?
Also, when you dont like me, when you hate me... let me only be alone, let me play alone, and let me enjoy the nice (not you) community.

To address some of your issues as you seem to prefer to deal with this in a public forum. As you were told yesterday and on several other occasions:

No the CSR staff do not have anything against you. You were warned several times for your conduct and constant abusive language in Klient and broke several terms of the codes of conduct in game. Hence you were warned. Then when a CSR was investigating another issue that had been reported by a player you were abusive and unco-operative with them.

So:

Are we waiting for a situation to ban you? No, of course not. But we have to look into any issues that are reported. We do NOT ignore ANY emails or in-game tickets that are raised by players - and will continue not to ignore any just because they involve an individual player. We do not "do" favourtism, one way or the other.
Have we nothing better to do like fix lags? This is customer support - not development. The routine lag issue is being investigated and a solution is near. I realise that some of your lag isn't this issue - unfortunately the one trace route you sent us when you were not lagging didn't show the problem too well. With a trace route from when yoy lag we will see where the issue is, it's very likely to be something on the route from your machine to the game, rather than the game itself as everyone doesn't lag at the same time as you.
Do we hate you? Oh please.
Is it fair to hear you're hated? It's quite easy not to be, just be nice to people.
When I hate you leave you alone? Well we don't hate you and we investigate every reported issue. And I'm sorry but we cannot leave swearing in Klient unchecked so will ask you to stop or remove you temporarily from Klient if you refuse to stop. That will not change.

I hope this clears up your worries.

In some spots the game has already been fixed to prevent this exploit. In others it still seems able to go on.

I don't think magi need any more advantage than they already have.

I melee, I don't do as much damage, I risk being hit all the time and its my job to hold aggro. Magi do more damage, at range and now can nuke critters with impunity from the sky to level fast at NO risk.

That is CLEARLY an exploit and just because the coding hasn't caught up to it yet doesn't mean its an exploit. Ages back we were told it was an exploit and not to do it and yet here are people still doing it.

Mages don't need any more advantages, the creatures down there can't get to you.

There's more to the game than power levelling and what's the point of doing something with no risk?

And blacky, your problems are these...

1 - You don't take a hint when you're giving people the hump, you keep on going.
2 - Your english skills get you misunderstood all the time.
3 - You come on here complaining (or klients) whenever anything goes against you as though the whole world is against you.

If you're not careful it WILL turn the whole world against you.

Cliffing or Terrain Exploitation in general is not cheating...
it might be unsportsmanlike towards the mobs...but it isnt cheating...

Throughout history man has tried to take advantage of his surroundings to hunt and battle...just browse ur history book for countless gorilla-tactic battles and terrain exploitations...whenever the few beat the many ;)

I'd call a hunter that hunts from a safe spot smarter than one charging at his prey at full speed [try to hunt lions IRL if u think otherwise, and make a post if u make it to the hospital  ] NOT braver or stronger but smarter...

So what if ppl do cliffing? Does it affect anyone else?Let them grind and have fun as they see fit...i've done it and most of the ''righteous'' ppl who condemn it have cliffed in the past [exceptions might apply]

u shouldn't critisice someone for trying to take advantage of the tools given to him..
in this case all we have is our amps, guns, blade and armour and the world we live in...the cliffs, the lakes [perhaps ppl should sent tickets for someone who runs in the water to avoid gettin killed  :p ]

in two words..if the devs dont want ppl to cliff..they need to make it so u can't....

Sending tickets to get ppl kicked cause they found a spot to safely grind  says more about the ticket sender [get a life,no really.. go out there and get one :p ] than the guy cliffing [who is most probably havin more fun than the ticket sender]

Sending tickets to rectify the problem [if the devs see it as a problem] is always good...but sneatchin isn't...most tickets on cliffing have probably been made against ppl that the ticket sender didnt like....

FYI.
i've played numerous P&P RPG's for years...[1player PC games are not TRUE rpgs...MMORPGs are getting close but still have a long way to go]
and based on that experience...if i can do something then i have the right to do it and will do it whenever i see fit..

i prefer chaotic hunts where u dont kno where its comin from and in every turn lurks an unknown danger...gets the blood rushin through my veins faster =)

...play ur game and enjoy it and let others enjoy it as they see fit :D

if anyone was offended by this post...well i didnt mean to offend ya but u deserved it probably :D

You're quite right, it isn't cheating in and of itself.
Its only cheating when you get unearned experience points.

>Throughout history man has tried to take advantage of his surroundings to >hunt and battle...just browse ur history book for countless gorilla-tactic >battles and terrain exploitations...whenever the few beat the many ;)

Guerilla, sorry, hate to correct people but that's as jarring to me as the rouge/rogue confusion.
Fighting in such a way in order to beat an enemy, or gather materials, or take on a difficult boss. This I don't object to, its the gaining XP for it that I can't abide. That is cheating and, yet another advantage for mages that they don't need.

>So what if ppl do cliffing? Does it affect anyone else?Let them grind and have >fun as they see fit...i've done it and most of the ''righteous'' ppl who >condemn it have cliffed in the past [exceptions might apply]

Yes, it affects everyone else as undeserving people who exploit weaknesses in the programming gain uber levels. This will become even more of a problem as we go into PvP and GvG. Why? Because who takes advantage of exploits? The unscrupulous, the powergamers and the a**hats. The very people who will become griefers and gankers.

>u shouldn't critisice someone for trying to take advantage of the tools given >to him..

You don't get XP if you run to the water, re-emerge and then kill the mob.
That one's already fixed, so no need to ticket it.
Also some cliffs have also been fixed, but not all. No need to ticket them.

>in two words..if the devs dont want ppl to cliff..they need to make it so u >can't....

They have in some areas and we were told _before_ they fixed the initial areas and the water not to do it as it was an exploit and breach of our agreement to play the game.

>Sending tickets to get ppl kicked cause they found a spot to safely grind > says more about the ticket sender [get a life,no really.. go out there >and get one :p ] than the guy cliffing [who is most probably havin more fun >than the ticket sender]

Doubtful, no risk, no excitement, just pressing key until your number goes up. It says that one person has ethics and a sense of honour and fair play, that the other doesn't.

>Sending tickets to rectify the problem [if the devs see it as a >problem] is always good...but sneatchin isn't...most tickets on cliffing have >probably been made against ppl that the ticket sender didnt like....

Perhaps they don't like them because they're cheating...

>FYI.

Take the D&D experience then. Where's the fun, or point, in getting XP for slitting the throats of bound and tied goblins. Any DM worth his salt will not give you any XP for killing things in that instance as you've taken no risk and not learned anything.

The newer version of D&D is more flexible in that regard in that encounters are given a challenge rating and any way you overcome the challenge can result in XP, still, you have to show intelligence and capability in order to get the XP. EG - in the case of aforementioned goblins if you snuck a sleeping potion into their food and then went past them you might still get the XP.

Sitting on a cliff is not cunning, or daring. If we had deformable terrian and you did something like the old Indians did, chasing animals off a cliff to kill them, then maybe you'd deserve the XP but gathering data on and assessing such tactics remotely is hellishly difficult.

Anyway, its hopelessly old skool to give XP for killing things in the first place, what is this, the 80's? :)

He's referring to tabletop RPGs, not computer RPGs.

I love final fantasy but its still not a patch on the freedom and imagination of tabletop play.

Even FF isn't 'true' roleplay because your characters pre-exist and are only barely customisable and the story is linear (even with side quests) and has a conclusion.

Tabletop games can last for years and run all over the place.

I ran a consistent Vampire storyline for 10 years, an SLA Industries campaign for over 5 years and that's just two examples.

Actually I don't like saying this, but I think sending a ticket for this shows only pure jealusy... "Only I can be Avatar of Destruction, I wont let anyone else get it!"
Hell I already regreted saying this! I absolutly love the way you play Kostika and Jyudas, so hands down you are good roleplayers! But if someone wants to ruin his fun with these things, it's not my job to protect them from themselves. They will most likely leave this game for good soon.
If someone brakes the rules in my P&P RP game I tell him/her that as long as I am the gamemaster/storyteller, I am like God. I know the rules and I am the rules. I don't let any player to tell the rules nor me nor other players. I run a Vampire saga for years (Budapest by Night, the name is from the time i was a teen :) ) and no one left the game yet. Why did I tell you this? Because I think not only exploiting destroys a good game, but a sending ticket about other players exploiting also. It's prob if you send a ticket saying this place is an ideal spot for exploiting. But sending a ticket saying X player is exploiting is simply rude, imo.

Well, I just got my level 200 melee and its a nice kick to feel that sense of accomplishment... but its a sense of accomplishment because its been worked for, and hard fought for at that.

So its not that I have such-and-such title and don't want anyone else to get it, I don't want the undeserving and the cheats - and yes I regard it as that - to get things they don't deserve.

My secondary objection is that mages have it easy enough compared to everyone else and don't need this advantage as well. Communities create their own standards of acceptable and unacceptable behaviour and I don't accept exploits.
