Is there any way that you could start the Feature / Wishlist post? I know at first this sounds like a trivial post but it ends up being quite functional...

This way, you could periodically update the first post in the thread with all of the new data that you have compiled from the latest posts. That way whenever someone came back to the thread at a later time, they could quickly see all the information that was currently "on the burner".

This approach would also make it much easier for you to keep regular forum visiters and contributers up-to-date on what was being addressed currently, what would be addressed in the future, and what had been passed over as bad ideas.

I saw an approach similar to this used near the end of one of the beta tests I was in (I forget which). They made a thread called "Bugs that HAVE to be fixed before release", and were constantly updating the first post with all of the ideas that had been suggested further down in the thread. They would also put a ( *fixed already in-house ) beside itemized requests as they were fixed in-house but not yet pushed out through a patch. Kind of like an informed bubble-up effect...
