till level 20 craft/foragin you will have a hard time to get monny. After that its a pice of cake IF you work for it and when i say work its working 2/3h to get yor backpack and packer full. then start Crafting/Selling. Hell my guildm8t Ezex would actualy destroy my pick if he could... .

Ps:
Send a tell to me ingame and i will see what my boss can arange. Most of the time crafters dont put items 4 sale on the npc bords cos:

- grinding vests (this gives the most xp)
- NPC slots full of items on other continents

The furst one is the biggest reson wy there ar no sets of armors or there is a shortedge. You can easely lose 700xp a craft by crafting boots, gloves. Do this x3 and you lose the xp (+/-) from 1 crafted vest. So its always best to /tell if you nead somting. Evryboddy dhos it so wy dont you... . The option to sell public is a bonus imho.

On the onther hand if you ment to answer talktalk, that makes more sense in the context.

Just to be factual .... yes you get less xp for crafting boots, but you use less mats.

Number of mats+ql crafted is the driver to XP.

Sets aren't produced becuase people usually what to raise only one branch for get the higher QL crafting skill.

You seem not to have understood the basic mechanics off craft lvling.

Exp is directly related to number of mats used in an item.

Heavy vest = 26 mats
Heavy gloves = 17 mats

So to get the same exp as a vest you would have to craft 26/17 = 1.53 gloves

Means roughly that 3 gloves = 2 vests

The only difference is that it takes a lot longer to lvl it because you need the same time for each item no matter how many mats used.

And why ppl lvl on only one item is easy because you don'zt have to fill in each mat again and can just continue grinding till your mats run out.

But that is not really the point of this thread. The point is that people just don't sell wares they could sell. And make their items guild exclusive.

There is a certain RP aspect to that. But the main reason why that is so, is that money is of no value in this game really. There are only so many things you can buy and once you have them you have no need for it anymore. Or you can just burn 40-50m on grinding all crafts up to lvl 100 like me =P

Most customers are either not able or willing to supply larger amounts of mats for items so getting payed that way is difficult to say the least.

I love supplying people and actually see my crafting lvls do some good and the demand inside my guild is not big enough to fill up my schedule completely, hence I can sell to others as well.

Did a say somting wrong?

Is it a crime to want to level yor craft in sted of selling full sets?

Maby a melee/magic xp exampel:

Killing bloated izams to get 1000xp and killing strong kipie 3000xp. What will you take if you can always have 1 of both. I think you will take the 3000xp unless it takes you 3min to get a kill... .

Ow and about yor less mat point: Its also a fact that faliors ruin the mat's again les xp + loss of mats. I dont care about it when somboddy asks me an armor but i dont craft stuff noboddy will use + gets destroid enny way in 14 days (if i'm not mestaken). If the person who wants armor just /tell's when he sees a part of a armor he likes and he wants a full set it might even be profitebel for both sides.

This is the point i want to make. I understand about the mats. But i optimalise to get craft high.

If i can help i will sertenly do so.

No

Not really like for like .... with auto fill of crafting panel, time to craft 3xboots vs 2xvest is about 3 seconds difference.

I will always go for fast medium XP with no downtime over long high risk Max xp kills.

Plus as Item degrades are based on the level of mob you fight vs your lvl and equipment lvl. Your items last much longer too.

What has failure rates to do with this?

1 chance to fail on a 26 mat craft vs 2 chances to fail on a 17 mat craft.

after about a 1000 crafts I am sure that it all balances out nicely.

I just wanting to make it clear that you don't get less XP crafting boots, becuase they are boots. Its because of the number of mats.

Its a shame that I even bothered to help...... I should have just let you carry on with an incorrect belief about crafting.

Now lets carry on wondering where the Blue People are.....

My guess is they are all in the roots or hunting in Fyros.
