I'm a Zorai so I have seen the goo. I have never found a place to actually dig it up though. As for NPC's, I've talked to the welcomers, the patrollers, the sargents, the Kami welcomers, hunters. The only missions they give out are to rid the land of goo infected animals from what I have seen.

The 'goo' is not activly spreading. It is a toxic plant created by the Kami in order to spread panic and drive confused homins to thier destructive belifes.

Although the goo is a problem, it is an entirely manufactured one. Once the Kami heretics are destroyed, we can clear away the poison they have spread.

The goo is spreading in Zora (EE server), no doubt about it in my mind.
I should put my pictures up off in, from Void.
Haven't found anyway to counter the goo with harvesting, no change after 3 hours of digging
So I assume it is a feature to come, or you need a huge digging/something event...

You need to stop smoking that spicy aroma plant. What you just said makes no sense whatsoever. Unlike the Karavan who have come to Atys to steal it's resources, the Kami live on Atys. It is their home and it would be completely stupid for them to introduce a substance that destroys thier home.

The Goo is spreading. If you compare screenshots from 2 months ago to now, you would see Goo in places it was not before.

The Karavan are the ones who can not be trusted. They don't live on Atys, they only come to remove resources for their own personal gain. If that isn't bad enough they hide behind their masks and refuse to let homins know where they come from or who they really are. Until they are brave enough to show who they really are, they will remain aliens that must be removed from our home!

Sadly, another that has been deluded by the Kami lies.

Tell me, Raynes, if you think seeing a form tells you all about a creature, who, really, are the Kami?

Are they the fuzzy little creatures that inhabit the more populated parts of the Matis forest? Or are they the clawed and fanged shadowy horrors that accompany the Zoria tribes in the Fleeting gardens. Or are they the dessicated wraiths that haunt the desert lands of Fyros. Or perhaps they are the huge monstrosities that lumber about, imposing thier tyranical will?

What exactly are the Kami? Which of these varied forms is thier true form, or is it all of them together? An answer, which if true, would make them essencially formless, and then, according to your logic, unknowable.

Simply because a creature springs from Atys (and we do not really know that the Kami are from here, it is simply the story the tell) it does not give them an inherent goodness. The gingo are part of Atys. The Zerx are part of Atys. Countless horrors that I have not seen or even heard of yet are all part of Atys, that does not mean they are benificial.

Is it coincidence that the Kami and the goo appear at the same time?

I agree that there is more goo than there used to be. But this is not because the goo is spreading, it is because more goo is being created in order to keep us afraid. The Kami wish to dominate us. They will use any tactic available. Fear seems to work on the Zoria, and that is why the Kami spread the goo through thier lands.

Its simple, destroy all Kami, don't be prejudice on size either, just destroy them all, every last one.

Then the goo will just magically go away.

The goo is really a bi-product of kami fecal matter.

If I'm correct (and I always am ) rumor has it that the Karavan are all about letting the Goo roam free. The Kami actively fight to keep the Zorai lands protected from the Goo.

So... if this anti-Kami accusation is true, then why wouldn't the Karavan want the Goo destroyed?

Well, in answer to an earlier post, I have mainly seen the 'rid the land of goo' missions from Prospector NPCs - I've never done one myself, but all wandering prospectors give these missions AFAIK.

If you're looking near Zora, leave via the main (NE) gate, turn immediately left, follow the wall to your left until you see a lone NPC in the middle of a small plain.

what you say is true we fight to rid the goo while the Karavan partys under there techno lights they are after all the Techno Lords hehehe
