In all honesty I hope that we NEVER see a site that list the resource locations.

SWGcraft.com (exhaustive list for SWG) was somewhat of a gamer spoiler for me personally because it removed any and all sense of independent exploration rewatd, as well as making resource extraction utterly pointless.

Once these sites begin to appear, the general effect of individual player effort will begin to dissipate, and all item crafting will begin to become standardized, because everyone will be using the same resources. No one will explore, and no one will have a "secret place" to gather the stuff for their masterworks.

So if you are thinking of starting a site, please don't. Word of mouth among friends should suffice to keep quality resource locations fairly populated, and the need to explore further and further from home to find that "one spot" will not be replaced by point-to-point runs back and forth from one posted resource spot to the next.

Agree.

I think that if these maps do appear they are more likely to be only up to quantity 50 Choice spots as most harvesters I know off only share the Excellent and Supreme spots of high quantity with a select few (usually guild-mates).

I'm certainly going to be in that category.
