Hehe.
. Guilds name and symbols are now always displayed above the characters.
Huh? Does this mean that I can't turn off guild names during large scale events plus I'm going to be stuck with a guild symbol now too? If so, I don't like that. Normally I do have it on, but when there are 80 people around turning off the guild names really frees up alot of clutter. Being stuck with the symbol on top of that sounds horrible.
There was a bug where even if you had it on, after time/zoning/whatever it would disappear. I'd have to go back into Interface and reapply it for them to show again.

That's nice and all but they didn't need to fix it with super glue.

. If your fame with a NPC is too low, he will now refuse to buy any items of yours.
Nice addition
This actually isn't an addition its how it was supposed to work all along. Hopefully with this fix suppliers will now once again buy stuff from you and you will get your proper Fame bonus to selling price. Before even if they supplier told you he wouldn't trade with you he'd do it anyways and on top of that he'd pay full price for stuff as if you had 100 fame with the tribe.
No longer access our Mektoub from "far away" --- Does this mean no access in Thesos if packer is in Pyr? Or is it no access from Yrk if packers in Pyr?
Curious about this too, does it mean no access out of stable zone or like you said, no access in thesos if packer is in pyr.

Notes have been updated too....
. You can't add any items to your mektoub inventory if it's in a far away stable.

The word in the chat client is that you won't be able to put stuff in your packer if you are NOT at a stable. They say that even though it was greyed out, you could still drop mats in. We should still be able to access packers from any stable.
It would not be a good thing otherwise. That would only work if we could buy a packer at each and every stable

Gee..the one 'feature' I truly enjoyed. Guess this means more running back and forth and dying since they still refuse to fix the teleporters in certain areas.

I am not going to complain or whine or anything till I have had chance to play and even then I will lets some time pass.
I understand the that access to packers Atys wide was kind of a huge advantage.
However, I hope that at some point in the future we can travel with packers, at the moment I don't see any point in removing my packers from the stables and now don't see the point in teleporting to other towns which don't have my packers stable there.

I never tryed putting new items in my mektoub when i was in an other stable then the one I left him at. I thought it was logical that you couldnt access it.
The vision of the devs is "in part" to make a realistic game, this wasnt at all.

hopefully they are merely referring to the bug where it fails to display sometimes, like after death. Also it should be on by default, if for no other reason than to stop people from spamming "Are there any guilds here" when standing in tyhe midst of 4 or 5 guilded homins.
doh...didn't see this thread was already two pages. previous statement very late.
On the packers, I tried to access my packer in Pyr from the Dyron stable and it was a no go situation prior to this patch. I always thought it was strange to access the packer from the south stable when he was actually at the north stable in Pyr.

Some things to note, for those who did not know.
[ I n t e r f a c e ]
. The trade window size has been improved in order to match better with some longer texts.
. Removed your name from the item description when browsing the merchant's list.
. Improved the mouse cursor management for a better game experience.
. Guilds name and symbols are now always displayed above the characters.
First item, great added value to game.
Second item, great change to fix what they did last patch.
Third item, don't know why they did this, never was an issue to me.
The forth item is interesting, there is a user interface option list where you can turn these on and off, so they are going to just change the global flag on all of the user options to enabled from default disabled, to change this back, all you have to do is go into the game configuration, interface, and change how the HUD displays work, there are 3 categories if I recall, anyway, long of the short, once they put this in place, just open the configuration, go into the one for friends, enemies, and guild, and just uncheck the boxes since they are making them checked.
Patch 26 is just a tweak and bug fix patch, not a major one, and its more of an ironing out some issues patch, nothing to get worked up about.
