Harvesting is great. Better than it was originally.

*especially* with the ability to sell items via the merchants.

Harvest changes: Great.

Combat tuning: Not there yet. Mob damage is still too high and accurate (ask any fighter). They also resist magic too much (resist rates need to be cut by about half).

I honestly didn't even TRY melee. I have heard it needs work...so I trust that it does need work.

Harvesting STILL sucks HUGE focus, and not ALL of it is refunded when I blow up the node. If you do NOT max out ALL focus and regen(which is NOT working during harvesting, and HARDLY afterwards IF sitting) then you won't be able to get a SINGLE node harvested completely.

I stand behind my feeling that there was another way to slow us down. Double the xp to level, tweek down the xp per mob, tweek SLIGHTLY the difficulty of the mob, not multiply it by ten.

Effectively this patch has lost MANY players, which we honestly didn't have enough to lose THAT many. And it has KILLED the casual gamer community. As I see it now, you had better have a HUGE guild, and be willing to do whatever they want you to. Since I am not willing to do that...I guess I am now religated to second class citizen.

I pray that they do NOT think that this patch is in ANYWAY finished. They need to tweek the focus regen back up during actions. It is INSANE that I am spending a FULL bar of focus during actions that didn't used to cost HALF this much.

I used to could harvest FOUR nodes, getting from one to three units predictably, four rarely, and not need to hit focus heal. I am now using it EVERY node. The ONLY thing I hope for is to level, RUN back to town, buy more focus, rinse repeat for TEN or more levels. MAYBE by 85 or even 95 I will again be able to harvest like I did at 65. This is just SAD to say the least.

What is even sadder is that my baby Tryker was doing JUST FINE, but not my level 70 Fyros. *sighs*

what i want to know is why they change the combat so much in the first place ? as far as i know everyone was having a great time ,like the old saying says "dont fix, what isnt broken"

Yep, I loved the old/original combat system. I loathe this new one. I've already given it a chance, and I've died every time I have.

Seriously, the mini-patch is a joke. Harvesting is great. Infact its possibly too great. I can't tell for sure, I was going about as fast as I was prior to patch 1 solo and significantly faster with 2 helpers.

Everything else about this patch blows more than Michael Jackson at a cub scouts convention.

Combat is a joke, magic is resisted all the dang time, monsters are clobbering players all over the place (today a 110 melee and a 93 melee died to a 88 clopper before I could even cast a heal!)

Basically right now I cannot solo at all without exploiting. That really makes me feel good to sit there and exploit terrain and AI bugs so that I have any hope at all of advancing my character.

This patch needs to be taken out back and shot. 'Nuff said.

I'm overjoyed with the harvesting changes, they allow for solo harvesting, and reward you for working in a team. OUTSTANDING improvements to harvesting.

Spells still get resisted a lot, perhaps a bit too much, magic does no good if you have to be 20 lvls over the lvl of the mob to land spells on it.

After hearing about some of our fighters in action trying to find a good xp levelling spot I'll have to change my vote to "needs work".
Harvesting changes were A++++
Melee & Magic changes were D-, mobs still hit too hard for their level and resistances to magic are extremely high. Mob damage & magic resistances need to be turned down ASAP.

Redcuse the accuracy of mobs - Do they ever miss now?

Reduce the Damage of mobs about 20% and I beleive even those that like to solo will be able to to again.

Magic resist is far to high. Affliction spells now seem to be totally useless. All you want is 2 Tank, 6 healers 1 nuker.

Every fight is similar to a CH rotation on raid mobs in EQ. Multiple mobs will just wipe you out becuase theres no cowd control with these resist rates. It use to be a jot getting 4 or 5 mobs and tossing otu blinds/stuns/sleeps on the adds while dealing with 1 or 2 at a time. Now its a boring pull 1 at time and spam heal the main tank.
