Possibly. I found myself confroted with a choice in making this post. I could either post on a NA forum and risk missing the RPers or I could post on the RP forum that serves all servers and communities and risk having the NA responses lost in the volume.

So, I dod what I almost invariably do when I have such a choice. I followed Murphy's axiom that states when you have a 50/50 chance of picking correctly you will pick incorrectly 80% of the time.

Still, I did not expect my query to fall so completely flat.

Yes, yes ,yes.... I know there is a story.... That's what drew me into this game, I missed the beta by 1 day..... The "story" however has yet to be implemented into the actual game. That was my point. If you think it has been implemented then explain "Fame" to me and the reason it is setup as it is, which makes 0 (ZERO) sense from the get-go.

That is not quite true. During the first couple weeks of the game, great warriors of the noble houses came and visited the various races and began to introduce some of the basic concepts to the players. These were RP events and they were quite fun.

Matis fame makes perfect sense to me. They have tended to "manipulate" their enviorment and thus have a bit more closeness with the Karavan. The Kami don't like this approach and Matis start with negative fame with them

Matis and Fyros have been at war for a long time in the past. They start with the most negative fame.

There was the entire misunderstanding with the Tyker, so there is a bit of uneasiness there too.

The Zorai and the Matis don't have a lot of relations with each other, but nothing bad has happend between them in their past, so they have a slight positive fame.

Actually, anybody that has really done their research can see easily come up with an explanation for every item of fame.

I'm sure there are Matisians out there who would like to see a return of Matisian reign, and the return from chaos is a perfect opportunity. I am also sure that there are others who would do anything to stop that from happening. Right?

Aye, and enough Trykers who would gladly slit the throat of any Matis foolish enough to think of trying to enslave the Trykers again.

Well, since I've searched all the forums with "fyros fame", and even clicking the link won't take me where you obviously want me to go...

I've figured it out. Many others have figured it out.. So either you just don't get it and are looking for a real answer, or you just want to complain.

Judging by how you responded to me, I'm guessing you just want to complain. However, if I am mistaken, I will gladly explain every last drop of fame to you.

Most of the time I think I spend too much time on the forums... but I see all these people trying to drive every thread off-topic for their personal rants.

Forums aren't a place to do much decent RP.
