So, I thought tickets were one use only. Can you just use them over and over again?

I would think they are one use - but you can buy 1 for each of the towns I guess so it is easy to set up a system of getting from one main forage region to the next.
I think I have hit on a major easy method of reaping huge SP's before the respec in a couple of days time - I'm probably too late now tho.

I can only commit 1 hour or so solid at a time because of things that crop up in real life with my family.
So I might be a real burden to a group.
Maybe I need a roadmap from Zorai thru to the other side with possible logging off places where I can stop the journey and recontinue later.
Are there any respawn points after I leave the main Zorai towns or will I need to run all the way back when I die (a lot I guess) from my Zorai towns?
I have never used the speed power stanza - would it be useful for the trip?

:p we won't be in a group, I'll just explain it to you and take you through once as best as I can. More than likely will die the first time, but once you get the hang of it you can try twice per hour in the roots. At least, towards Tryker.

It takes roughly 15 minutes to run from one side of the roots to the other, as long as you don't hit the boss spawn or the patrols. Also, there is a Karavan and Kami port that will be of GREAT help.

After that you'll be going through Bounty Beaches. That was the majority of the 12 hours the Zorai took.. you can sneak through there too, and run like hell. It's possible to get a good spawn but nt likely..

As for selling. No, tickets cannot be sold.

Places to log? Yeah.. once you get in you will have a spawn point, so you can log wherever you want :D Same with BB, you can log anywhere in BB and if you die when you get back, just respawn at BB entrance. I'll explain this more when you contact me in game.

Almost seems ridiculous to be able to do that - many people must have heaps of Sp's from foraging in other regions to reallocate into other compatible skill trees.
It doesn't matter , the skill points from one tree are plenty to buy everything that is useful in the foraging tree. Its nice to get some additional ones to boost your hp/hp regen, that's about it.

Don't forget that you can't trade teleport tickets, nor put them in your packer (I learned that the hard way). I try to have more than one ticket to places I go to often (Roots, Nexus), in case I happen to have a brain fart and forget to buy one after getting there.

Also, the speed and invulnerability stanzas help a lot, due to the fact that some teleporters are surrounded by angry stuff that'll kill you in one hit if you get close to them. With speed/invuln you can get to the altar, buy the ticket, and die knowing that you can always come back to that teleport anytime you please. :P

Once you teleport to an altar, the immediate area is a safe zone. Ie, you can't get attacked within 10m of the altar.

Hope that helps.

Being one of those Zorai who died massively in Bounty Beaches, I'm still not sure I'd call it realistic solo. Possible with a lot of luck, yes. I've made it 3/4 of the way, and even with patience it didn't matter because there are just too many mobs. Hiding in the best spot I'd still get discovered. So on top of it all, it requires a lot of luck.

Nor Wastelands nor Undersprings roots either are what I'd call "possible". Undersprings has about as high of a luck factor as Bounty Beaches. You have to get just the right astrological conversion of kitin patrols, bandits, and predators in the right spot to get past to a kami teleporter (running from Zorai) to get to Fyros.

Course doesn't stop me from trying, because if you try absolutely enough luck does happen. Just don't expect to be advancing any levels for a good long time.

Heh, yeah. Still haven't made it through Under Springs, that place is my nemesis.

You sure about that? I teleport regularly to the Kami Circle in Matis and there are a couple of Javing that patrol it. I've been attacked several times as soon as I spawn (or so it appears).

Kamagi...in reply to that people with tickets must have lots of harvest sp from other lands...
I suppose that may be true, but harvesting high quality mats (choice+) of tryker mats hardly does a matis any good because choice mats are the race of the land only ie: choice mats in tryker land are tryker only. So if a matis has a ticket to tryker to harvest, it is not for the mats he can gather for crafting because he cannot craft with them at all. However, he could gather them for a tryker to craft tryker things for him.

The only land besides one's homeland that is really worth getting a high harvest skill in is the prime roots. There are excellent and supreme mats in the roots if you can stay alive long enough to do the pulls.

It is possible in some lands to get Choice resources from another land. The desert at the top of Matis land, for example, gives the Choice+ Desert mats for Fyros crafters.
