You might want to try Omega drivers instead of the official ATI releases. Currently using Omega version 2576 on my R9700 Pro and works great. You can download them and many other tools here:

I also noticed that you play both a Zorai and a Matis. Most of the people playing with ATI's that get crazy crashes are playing Trykers. There is definately something wrong with the Tryker area of the game and it goes beyond video cards. I don't think I know a single Tryker that plays with an ATI that doesn't get random lockups and CTD atleast a few times a day.

I actually also play a Fyros and Tryker, but took them off my signature because I don't play them as much. I was leveling the Tryker on the island, but I'm waiting til after patch 1 to take him to the mainland. I wonder if anyone was experiencing crashes while they were still on beginner's island?

I think I did see mention of Tryker specific fixes on one of the patches, so that was another reason to hold off on spending time on that char. Strange that the problem affects only one of the races. The other races have water too, but maybe not over some critical value?

Anyway, I'm having enough fun with the Zorai and Matis to be patient for the Tryker fix.
