Upgrading an account with a CD key

yea CD key was on back of one of the envelopes! hurry up and get on the mainland

Well, I talked with my ma today, and she says there's nothing on the back of the envelopes. And she's looked throughout the box and book and stuff for a code and has found nothing. Oh well.

I just picked up a new box off of eBay. Hopefully since it's new, the codes will be intact. I'll get to the mainland shortly. I still got some stuff to do on Silan. Ultimately, I'd like to ding 50 (or close to it) on all the skills I can before heading over. Also, I like hanging out with the new folks!

You could go to the mainland at 1/1/1/1 and be alright. Going to 50 on Silan is just an exercise in extremely slow grinding. xD

But liking to hang out with the new folks is good enough reason to linger. ^_^

Check the auction description to see if you're supposed to be getting that code with it. I don't know how people can sell copies of games without the original codes. It seems dishonest to me.

Actually, that is exactly what using the CD key will do for you. You can upgrade, you just can't PAY to upgrade. The CD keys are pre-paid upgrades.

If there was no chance of a new owner, the game and its associated websites presumably wouldn't be running anymore.

I heard the receivership process is just tied up in some sort of legal issues, so potential owners (like Virtual Citizenship Project) haven't even received the list of assets yet.
