voted other - I wasn't around in 2006 :)

But I was around in January 2007. In fact, I discovered this game because of the Nevrax collapse. I read about it somewhere, and decided to see what all the fuss was about.

For me, the social part of this game is my #1 reason for being here. If it was all bad, I'd have disappeared long since.

I wish there was more interest in RP, both in game and in the forums. But there are so many ultra nice and interesting RL people here that my hunger for interesting characters is quite satisfied. ;)

I'm having tons of fun. I play every day. I've given up other pastimes to have more time for Ryzom. I can't remember the last time I watched TV. It's so dull in comparison...

the community is different..simple as that :)

btw saying it is worse would mean it was bad to begin with imo...

I voted other - the community is indeed totally different.
Still this community is by far better than in most other games...

However, what is the need of such polls? We don't need any more new players? Anв you feel the need to totally discredit the community ASAP?

Imho the poll was uncalled for :(

I know him well enough(atleast I'm sure) to say, He didn't want to do any of those things you just listed, It was just curiousity to see how people felt.

BTW my brother says hey Komi, He just had a kid if I havn't told ya,(First of Aug, making me a uncle :) ) But he is in the hostpital sick atm :( (the baby :/) He acually popped ingame about 2 weeks ago, for a short time,.. wasn't in guild anymore :p

We certainly won't be getting any with an "Attitude" poll where the winning vote is >>"Worse"... :rolleye: (im not criticising your poll NB...just pointing out at the majority of "Worse" votes...Like i said in my previous post, you should have chosen a different word, m8.)

I still think the community is close. If anyone thinks otherwise just look at the names of the posters in all the threads that ended as flames. Usually it is only the same few people who have very differing views.

Talk to these posters ingame and you would seldom think they are the same people.

At least that is my experience.

To put my opinion simply.

Better ingame, Worse (by so much) on the forums.

I voted other as well as you forgot an option....

- The inactivity and the lack of communication is starting to really get on the nerves of was still is In Game the best MMORPG community ever but what happens on forums is just people jumping at each others because they start to be bored (politically correct) about GF doing nothing ......

I wasn't gunna say anything (again) but I think it's true, if we had some events or new stuff to keep us busy from time to time we'd be less bored and frustrated.

well people will get the same impression just reading the forums. TBH it makes sense that the forums have the gone the way they have. someone once told me that politics are the most important part of op battles as it determines numbers you get etc.

if you notice once people hit the point they can really make a difference in op battles they dont seem to post much politics wise, but until they do politics is the only thing they can make a significant difference in.
