Characters who start out with a 2 or 3 pack mage should NOT have to pay 40 plus SP to learn the first level of a spell. I think that is a ridiculous amount to pay. If anything first level spells should be the easiest to buy with each succeeeding level of spell a LITTLE bit more expensive.

You are not buying the spell itself in most cases .. you are buying the supporting stanzas. Once you start the path of upgrading your stanzas themselves you will note that the price for most spells go down. Right now I can buy first levels of any aura at 10 sp and I have never bought the first one. But since I have most of the included stanzas the price is for the aura itself.

Seriously ... more sp will not help in the long run. Sorry you want more than you can afford at your current level. This is not a I must have it all ... it is build your own character with what you have.

Regarding the sp cost in especially the magic skill trees, I am also wondering - are you guys buying the full action (40 sp I think) for every spell upgrade? You are aware that you can just buy the upgrade stanzas/bricks (acid, cold, heal upgrade for instance) for 10 sp, right?

Of course it is possible that you are doing this and still find yourself short of skill points if you want to buy most of everything there is :) .

I agree with some of the items on the original list and am glad to hear that mission loot will be changing. Here is one that I find annoying that was not listed:

There should be either a sound or an animation or both associated with dodging or parrying etc. This would make firing off conditional attack actions much easier.
