Error Code 1, I disable my Zone Alarm firewall and it worked. Hope this will help other players.

I found that solution somewhere else, and it worked to fix my error code 1 problems.

But then the patcher repeatedly failed to launch. Deleted old version and tried downloading it from ryzom site. Slow and very buggy.

Solution for me was downloading old version from Fileplanet (quite fast). Installed and patched just fine. Happily playing now :)

i cant undertand..?

When i start ryzom this is coming up:
we are now patching the saga of ryzom on your computer.
this might take several minutes depending on your connection.
please be patient this window will close when the patching is over.

And this is problem:
Then patching stops and window close. Nothing happening i can't go to play..
Whats the problem? What i must do? I hope you answer.

ohh my... you dont mean the "dos" window (text window) ? if yes, then it's ancient version you using. get new installer from homepage... and if you running vista, then dont install ryzom under "Program Files" folder. use Documents or Desktop (or c:\Ryzom should work too)
