Storage isnt ideal at all, it would be nice to have more transportable storage (packers) double the cost of packers and double to storage on them :)

My storage situation is like this:
Packer 1: In zora holding PvP jewels and light armor, Heavy armor for pvp, Spear, sheild, axe and sword. Along with a few cats i have. (normally full)

Packer 2: In dyron, holding mats for my spear craft grind (always full)

Packer 3: In FH, this packer holds alot of testing materials, near enough 10 of every boss and dug mat i need to play around with on a regular basis. (normally full or near)

Mount 4: God knows where this beasty is, last time i used him i was racing around atys with scarazi :o

My apartment holds a stupid stupid amount of teleport tickets, this takes up a large amount of room. I also have prolly every Q200 maxed weapon in here along with plenty of grind LA and jewels, incase i feel the need to grind a melee.

Oh and yea i would love more storage if yu feel like skipping the above explination of where i store my pants :P

quite similar :)

packer 1 [bessy] - full
3 sets of la, 2 sets of jewels, set of ma, interesting collection of weapons inc launcher. (always full, and hot swapping with bag)

packer 2 [zeeka III*] - full
grind mats to match those taken from hunting (on merchants at 9999%), or if havent been hunting just dug

packer 3 [strongbow] - full
HA, PvP la, PvP jewels, PvP weapons, room left over supplementing packer 2

mount [mount #11**] - full
x3 concentrated food
picks

apartment - full
20 of every q250 dug and q270 boss on atys (still working on that one but getting there), spare jewels, karavan tp pacts :p , some dusty nostaligic stuff from haddo, muff, loulou, etc, candy cane, small stock of sup la mats for emergencies, boss mats i'm saving for something specific

guild hall - dont go there, always bursting.

* first zeeka wanted to see elusive forest, that didnt go so well. second zeeka met an unfortunate end as my ammo mule in void, not idealy built to survive in middle of Jug spawn. third zeeka is staying in stables.

** kept at void kami tp, likes to go for walks in wastelands, hence the name as i get too upset having to name them so often.

Let us rent more ;)

Funny.

Good news though. Who knows what Gameforge will do though.

My main issue isn't the lack of space, although I do agree there should be more options to increase it for those that need it.*

My problem is with the fact that it is, yet again, content for the few not the many. Give it to us all, not just OP owners. They claim it's non-PvP content but it isn't - to get it you have to engage in PvP.

* Lets put the space in perspective - yes a GH is 10000 but if you have more than 30 members in your guild, that's less than a packer's worth each. ;)

Disclaimer: ranting.

I'm half-half here. This is subjective and biased, but personally, for the last year I've been waiting. I don't know what exactly, but waiting. Waiting for meaningful lore advancements, waiting for interesting additions, waiting for spires (not that I am eager to PvP, but the idea was interesting. Nevrax, tho, scared of a massive cold-turkey dinner has, for some logical reason, decided to postpone it until it can be tested and assessed) waiting for the ring, (the best thing on MMRPGs since sliced breasts and permadeath, something that we playes MUST love. Oh wait) waiting for the Kitin Nest, wait, wait wait.

I know the situation, of course, I know about Gameforge buying Nevrax. I don't expect GF doing a lot of things (although they kept Nevrax devs, there should be some continuity). I went form a very pro-active member towards a skeptical one and caring less and less. I no longer dream about Ryzom.

Changes:
* Silan. Oh, sorry I checked it, but you know, my main avatar was high level, I know it was needed, but it had little to no influence on me.

* Ouposts. Yes, nice, but unfinished and not for me.

* The RING: a failure. A miserable failure. 18+ months of development time, a lot of potential but faliure due to minor things sich as hosting possibliities, lack of harvesting or rewards. An example of half-baked, half-finished feature. Day after day I check the scenarios. Sad.

* revamped bosses: another example of "Nevrax pendulum". Several players know what I mean by this, so no need to elaborate.

* Kitin nest: what can I say? yes I know "it's on the pipe", but please STOP announcing features MONTHS in advance. We will feel less stupid. I know "it is being tested"... but, sorry I can't help but thinking this. Fame titles? do you still remeber that "titles excel file" right?. When did we get the letter from Ms. Mulligan MMRPG-saver stating that they noticed some players did not want PvP and more Kitin content was produced. That was the start of the Kitin Nest. The Kitin Nest should ROCK, right?

So what? well, for starters, every communication, PR, announcement makes me react the same way "yeah, yeah...", and I take them with grain of salt. So another adition will be more storage for OP owners. Great, I don't have an OP. OPs are merely an interface to a PvP scenario. New lands. That sounds old, from the times of the 5% Atys and 99 Prime Root Layers.

Oh well, ignore my rant.

Not really ranting, well not if anyone from game forge are reading this, i agree with nearly everything said, ive not been playing as long as you ani, but waiting is a very good away of describing the situation of atys.
From small things like the title changes promisied ages ago, to the massive fact where is jena, we did the old land event awaiting some huge to happen and nothing did. It was prolly the biggest anti-climax ever in ryzom, as much as I* enjoyed the old lands it was only because i was awaiting the big events which where promised after.

*- i know not everyone enjoyed the old lands, so for nothing at all to follow makes it even worse for those people.

Yeah, everyone whos been here longer than a week is thinking it... :P (pretty much in a nut shell)

We just don't say anything for some reason... Should do a poll on whos taken one of those 'Ryzom breaks' because they're just too bored/fed up. Think I'm semi-on my 4th, or 5th now? :p

Sadly Anissa I can't because you are right. It isn't a rant it's a fact of life with Ryzom. Coming up on 3 years of playing Ryzom and, like many others, all I've seen for too long now are broken promises, half-baked implementations and more PvP related content.

I still have hope that will change with Gameforge and will give them time to settle in and get things moving.

Having said all the above, I still love the game and log in almost everyday. Longest break I've taken was probably the 4 day downtime a while back and that was enforced. I once got a bit down because of friends leaving and didn't log in for a week. Well OK what I actually did was not log as main after the first 2 days and played a new character instaed. ;)

Sometimes playing as an alt can be a nice break in itself. :)

Hardly we can ignore, because it's true.

I've here for less than six months, but there is a genereal sensation of broken promises. That's bad, very bad.

I think that GF will not continue that policy, but I think that now, when they had taken the control yet, could do a "fresh start" in promises, and make a list with the real agenda of Ryzom, saying the "yes" and the "not" of all the issues scheduled, revealed, etc...

Because GF must have yet a calendar and an idea; being the players so bored of expectations, a clean-up could be very useful.
