I used slow attack back when we could work fame on temple guards. Was awesome. I still use them both. they have their uses.

but your never going to save the day with any of these skills, you will never save your teammates or yourself with these skills, and at the "very most" these skills don't bring anything to a situation that big nukes, big weapons, big heals can not handle more efficiently.
I've been able to save teammates by rooting zatchel. :D 3 people, all in focus gear, OA can help out tons!

The power of the amps reduces the Sap cost per tick of the link spell.

It does work in practice, its just a little more difficult than big damage big heal. But the effects are worth the effort.
May I please have examples?

Also I would like to clarify, I don't think anything is broken or wrong, just a few little tweaks, to make them useful.

well I'm not lvl 250 so I wouldn't know, but I do suspect all of lifes problems go away at lvl 250.

and since I have no plan to lvl that far, guess I'm in a pickle.

ok ok fair enough, I'll hold my current opinion, and go back to testing.

Hmm 1 affliction cast has saved more teams than a nuke ever has imo.

you have to know what your doing, with afflictions.
Its a waste of time using Madness on a non aggro mob, they dont do enough damage themselves.. but it rapes cuttlers and kizoars, and does a respectable amount of damage to kinchers :p
Nothing nicer than watching some 5* purple mob do its special attack, see the 2 or 3 thousand damage points float up the screen, and realise they hit themselves with it :D

Madness, stun fear, even sleep, all useful in PvP.. I was trying to find a spot on my handbar for Root or Slow during the last OP battle :)

Stun and Madness are great for Boss hunts, Stun is more practical, but Madness is just so much FUN.. Staring into the eyeball on a level 270 mob as it tries to kill you..

I guess the entire point of my post, is that afflicting is more fun. Nuking and melee does get to be a drag. Healing can be a challenge.. not so much from the mobs as the party members doing stupid stuff :p

Melee has room for improvement, 1 hand melee is just not effective compared to 2 hand. They really need to activate the 1h weapon stats.
and Ranged... doesnt need any comments here.
