stinga, arma, bolobi, jugula, madakam, ragus, shalah, Timari, varinx, Gibai, kipesta, Kipee and others resist Piercing damage. A good portion of which are in the everyday leveling group I'd say... but each damage type has its ups and downs... on the bright side you get to smack down those nasty cuttler and yetin about nicely. ;)

Mob Physical Damage Resistance List:
http://www.ryzom.com/forum/showthread.php?t=17276

Ignoring the creatures that resist all or resist none-

18 types have blunt protection
20 types have pierce protecction
19 types have slash protection

So if you're going to pick a creature at random, you have the best chance (very slightly) of doing full damage with mace.

Of course you may want to look over the list and see where your common prey falls.

I said highly resistant. Like Kipuckas are to slashing.

Any creaure with more than 50% resistance to one damage has that same resistance to all three.

ie Kipucka have 80% protection to slash, smash, AND pierce. Same with vorax, etc.

50% is as high as it goes if it only resists one (or two) damage type. And more creatures have 50% against pierce than to either slash or smash.

Pierce is overall the most resisted physical damage type, but that's exactly what Ignore Armor is there for. :)

What Seh said, most of those examples were 50%, which is pretty high. :)
