The Karavan players have a strong numerous, well organised alliance of extremely devoted players. They believe in unity under Jena's light and thereforе show up more often at outpost fights to help each other and hense they possess far more outposts all in all. The karavaneers call in sick at work, stay up until 3am at night and get up again at 6 for the faction events. This influences the numbers and makes them look "stronger". The Karavan also do share a lot among themselves. So xp catalisers, weapons or armor and even op mats is not a problem to get if you are kara... Karavan also help neutral guilds and even some kami guilds without outposts.

The kami on the other hand have only some zealot guilds that do care about the faction war. The majority doesn't show up, doesn't care that much and is rather individualistic. The Kami zealots are trying hard to pull the kami faction together but so far their success is not as great as they would like. And I haven't heard about too much charity among them. Rather people bickering about how come noone gives nothing.

That is the differense in game mate.

And lore.. lore is just a nice story.. It's the people who make the game.
Hmhm, and people who call in fake-sick and stay up all night and so on, aren´t zealots? *LOL* Kommisar you crack me up.
So it´s ok to suppot your faction with everything one has, but if others try to support their faction, they´re "zealots", suuuure... *ROFLMAO*

Man I hope that this is only your InGame stance. *shakes head*

its rather odd people think this, we have charitible set ups across those guilds who help each other. sometimes people come on and say "hey why does no-one share with me the kami are all greedy etc". The problem with that is they never ASKED for anything so therefore we do not know of their needs.

there is not 1 person who has ever asked me for OP mats/crystals/free crafted items who has been turned down. *IF* I dont have access to the required item I can usually point them in the direction of someone who can provide it.

we dont have time to go walking about shouting "who wants XXXXX item"

there are many people at dyron stables who KoO have donated to, just most of the time we know of their needs

Ah the Chronicles, don't go there much. Hate the layout. Thanks for the link though. :D

That all changed when they started their 'war' (looks around for Jena again. ;) ). The Kami are now just as bad as the Karavan. They told us to go to the old lands and mine them dry to build their temples.
I sure am glad to see one more that didn't get fooled by those that pretend to speak on the behalf of the kami.
Let the karavan and kami speak for themselves and trust your nano seed, that is the only way forward.

Does the word Zealot have a bad meaning? I consider myself a karavan zealot and am proud of it. As far as I know this word means a person who does everything for his faith, no? what's bad about that??

By saying kami zealots I mean those few people who try to keep the kami community together who are doing everything for it. They are zealots only because they are few and this si not mainstream.

So your laughter is a bit out of place here Acridiel imho.

Hmhm...

Okay, I ma be mistaken for I´m as much a native speaker as you are, ;)
But for me "Zealot" carries a significant bad aftertaste. (Exact translation to german: Fanatiker = fanatik)
A "religious" Zealot is someone who does "everything" for his faith, including killing the innocent and weak, just because of their faith.

And I laughed because of the distinction you made, not because of the word :)

It just seems funny to me, that those who do all for the Karavan, stay up, call in sick and whatmore,
are "heroes" in your eyes, and those who do the same for the Kami are "zealots".
For me there is no distinction at all.
All of them do what they feel is right. So why then seemingly deface the "others"?

Ahwell, I appologise if my translation of that particular word wasn´t correct. :p

Acridiel, your understanding of the word is quite right. A zealot is someone who is a fanatic (excessive commited).

well ok no matter.

I am not a native speaker either.

But i implied absolutely no destinction. The word hero also was not stated you made it up. All I said was that karavan zealots (me for example) outnumber kami zealots greatly. And that is evident imho...

The joke that you are laughing at exists only in your imagination mate.

Geez whatever you guys come up with to show the karavan as [edited by Soulsnatcher]...
Why does every thread have to become an inflammation?
Let's play the game for [edited by Soulsnatcher]. It's there on servers, not here on forums.
I was answering the question a man asked from a karavan perspective.
10 people before me stated kami perspective. So what's wrong huh?
