I can only reiterate what everybody else has said - this really is an amazing game (2 years for me now, and still loving every minute), and the community is sublime.
With so many new players starting at the moment - I have a permanent character on the Fyros island and see between 5 and 10 new names on my /who list every day - it won't be long before you feel like one of the old hands.
