Oh, I think I remember that. I guess we were around until after that patch then. Oh well, doubt i'll be bringing back the old chars then.

You cant criple a char with using SPs at wrong spells/stanzas. It will only change the order you get them at. Ofc there is a certan order wich is wiser to obtain them.

Maybe your new char outgrows your old soon anyways..?

That would be nice now wouldn't it? But alas, in one of my normal late night(early morning) fits I whipped out the credit card and sent off tha $14.95 to reactivate my old account.

Yep, I was around for the respec. Yep, I still have some gear on two of my 3 Zorai chars. Yep, I don't like their current skill/stanza choices.

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like I'll be able to talk the woman into playing. I couldn't believe that I got her to start gaming with me in the first place. But after a over a year of WoW (and two months of Ryzom forever ago) she says she feels a little burned out on the MMORPG thing. /shrug

Whatcha gonna do, ya know? At any rate, my old char's have been reactivated and I will be hanging around the Zorai lands for a while trying to get some of the skills I ignored originally up to par. But on an uber-casual basis.

I would like to request that all new players roll Zorai though. When I logged in my old chars last night (2-3am est'ish) there where 0(zero) other Zorai in the main zone with a /who. When I logged in my trial account Matis character shortly there after and did a /who in Yrkanis no less than 10 folks were around. Whatchu people got against some Kami loving, blue skin'did, mask wearing, jungle fever'in, reindeer helmeted Zorai anyways...?

I would pay a months subscription to be able to respec again... I saw that as a bonus chance. To this day I pull my hair out (what's left) over the wasted precious craft SP. It's really thwarted my gameplay as I can do so many things I cannot do the ones I want easily or with full ability.

Hmmm not feeling "realy thwarted" but I would love a respec so I could get those Craft points back and spend the 6k+ of Forage sp I have left over...

I'm curious as to the reasonings behind no respec opportunities in over a years time. I can't believe that some of you have had the same characters for that long with the exact same skills/spells/etc. After playing WoW for over a year where you can respec for a monetary(ingame) cost at anytime that you want, coming to a system that allows no form of respec seems odd.

I only logged in real quick to check my inventory(or lack thereof) and to see if I had a whole bunch of skill points to spend. I guess I already respec'd after patch 1 though cause most of my points are spent already. /shrug

Waste of $14.95? Naw, since the woman isn't playing I don't wanna be no stinking Matis anyway...

the only reason for one would be to claw back stat upgrades/aura's etc trained from craft sp, all other branches have a glut of spare SP after a while.
