Think they just got sick of people picking holes (some which are & arn't -more so that arn't- there) in their game?

I'm kinda hoping this announcement was more about some of the issues that have been going on with outpost PvP

Im happy to see this long as the people who did get banned were in fact exploiters :)

More out of curiosity than out of fear of getting banned, but I have to ask:

Recently I found out the speed on daggers is much lower than it should be. A lot of players before me had used daggers for dozens of levels and never noticed this, simply because they didn't pay much attention to it and assumed it worked as it should. Or if they did notice, they didn't make it public.

This means there may just as well be weapons or equipment out there that are better than they should be, and have lots of players using them without ever noticing this.

Let's say that tomorrow I decide to train my mace skills, find a nice tryker mace on the market and set out hunting with it, and happen to find that the tryker mace is much faster than it should be, and much faster than the other maces. This would clearly be an unfair advantage, but one that dozens of players would have already used without knowing about it. If I choose to pretend not to have noticed this and keep on using that mace, am I exploiting? What if I really never noticed? How can you tell whether I noticed or not?

Kinda makes you feel like your getting in trouble for something somebody else did, and everytime you open your mouth to try to resolve the issue, it gets worse... doesnt it?

I'm a little scared myself - esp as the game seems to have tons of bugs in it (maybe not too important, but some we might be exploiting without knowing) for instance i think something might be up with healing - and with enchantments.. but i'll keep my mouth shut till im sure(er) about that...

um - i guess all i can say is - if you find anything, just make sure to tell a gm about it and cover your own back-side first :D but other than that - touche Nevrax, keep up the good work.

S'int T'Klaes has come and gone and still this Fyrosian warrior languishes in a dungeon. Will the Emperor show mercy?

[OOC: From my view of what occurred on the public forums, I believe that Grimjim's indefinate ban was too harsh. I hope that the devs relent and allow him back. I don't always agree with him and I would hate to see a rekindling of the PvP v anti-PvP forum wars, but I believe that he should be able to express his opinions here.]
