As much as I hate feeding negativity, I have to agree with you. When I was playing SoR (yes, these changes that are about to go live have already driven me away) I had 66-87 positive fame for all civilizations. That took A LOT of work and I did it for two reasons: 1) In preparation for better rites to be released later that would require higher fame. 2) Nevrax had mentioned in previous months that fame would make a bigger difference later down the road.ariwen wrote:This is garbage, Ridiculous,
After all the work I did to increase all my cicivlizations to a + value in order to do rites. Now I loose them??
What fun is that for me??
Does anyone know how hard it is, and how much work is involved to get a + faction in ALL civilizations??
You know your just proving to all the poeple who left that more impossible options will be applied to this game. If this goes on Ill not have to worry about quitting playing Ryzom, youll put youreslf out of Business like Earth and Beyond did!!! Thats bad too, such a good game!!!
Agreed in full, TBH having access to Kami TP's all this time has been a bonus I have not earned so am not really losing them.forever wrote:I like the new changes and think they are long overdo. I think Nevrax needs to make these changes to keep the game alive. Fame has a meaning now and we are finally getting needed content. It seems people see change as bad, I see it as a new challenge. We will haft to get out of the rut we are in and find new ways to achieve our goals.
So they're telling us how to RP...and telling us how our characters should think and act...The gameplay reason is quite simple: it will avoid having enemies in the same guild. If several players are pro- PvP but from different sides, they will become enemies. Your allegiance comes first; being part of the same guild doesnt nullify it.
From a roleplay standpoint: gathering people from different sides would surely raise some tensions inside the guild. Please imagine: having both Kami and Karavan people together would make the guild pretty unstable from a religious/politics standpoint.
Not necessarily!Your allegiance comes first; being part of the same guild doesnt nullify it.
Again, not necessarily. Not surely. If characters of different factions can get along, why not let them?gathering people from different sides would surely raise some tensions inside the guild.
You might want to go back and read more carefullyoldmess wrote:(and, yes, I may have just read it too fast, but I tried this time, I really did)....
....but I don't understand why a guild wouldn't want to simply remain neutral to allow max. flexibility.
To be fair, neutrals will still lose about 18 (excluding PR, and not sure how many tryker ones offhand)forever wrote:If you look at the post below you will see as a neutral you are goining to get 16 TPs you never had before.
