Do not confuse a leaders personal feelings and past with their duty to a nation and its core beliefs. To rule for ones own personal perspective is selfish and tyrannical. Yrkanis' Duty as King is to the people of Matis, regardless of any personal friendships. To allow personal friendships to dictate state policy is very wrong however, that is corruption. Yrkanis is acting in union with Matis as a leader should. Were his governance be against the interest of the matis ideals i would tear down the false leader who allows friendships to threaten and weaken Matis. I am Loyal to the King, and the King is loyal to Matis.
