is it possable they threw us a realy hard one and each line of code has a different cypher. using statistical cypher first line comes up with lots of W's and X's and also ends with ZXX. As a long shot is it possable that W denotes a space? and X is the real E in this case it would make the last word 'see' since there are few 3 letter words that end in a doubble letter it does make a bit of sence.

Hmm, if 'W' denotes spaces, why the 5 real spaces in the text?

The formating of it seems kinda strange, the end letters in each lines might be a key to each of the line.

I believe the spaces weren't there in the original code, let's see if I can still find the screenshot I made during the event.

Last five letters might be the key though, but I'm sure Amcyr has already considered that.

yes that is what i was thinking also, but what do they suggest, should we take these letters out of the previous sentence should we replace them with another letter? as for the W and the spaces, its a long shot but the long sentences have to be broken up some how. maybe the letters at the end of the sentecnce are the ones that are used as fillers

So the original was all just one line of text with no spaces and end of line at all? A screenshot would be awesome.

eta:

I see a 'XYZ' in the end there, quick Amcyr, do something with that!

Ok ... I am seeing a lot of double letters. Let see if this help Amcyr :)

If it's just a simple letter substitution, how often does a few sentences have that many double letters in it?

Found the screenshot. I have nowhere to host it, but here's what it says:
Deggen says: IDGDHWVRWXFTJVZWTIJPGQTXAVSGFENOEZWPXWDWRFTDZHNOAPZXX

No spaces. Three seperate sentences, a doublelength one that could be one single or two seperate sentences, and then 5 more letters.

Edit: I see the spaces are put in again, so to clarify again: They are not there. I did not put them there. There are no spaces.

Edit2: Also remember how the third letter had:
xyzabc <- junk at the end ?

Maybe that's they key to this one, somehow.

Wait, 3 or 4 separate sentences plus the 5 letters at the end? How do you know that the 2nd and 3rd "says" was meant to be 1 doublelength sentence?

I meant that the 4rd "says" could be a single sentence that's double as long as the other three, or that it could be two seperate sentences in one "says".

ah, gotcha!

I think we're going to need some outside help, I am gonna pass it around ;)

(or it could just be treated as one single long string and the spaces and endofline are arbitrary, meaning we'll have to insert/format it ourselves)
