[Feedback thread] New Player Information Sections

I think it's great that you're doing this. Keeping in touch with the community is extremely important, I feel.

It does seem like a couple of the issues don't really warrant much feedback. Like accidentally breaking the Kipeekoo drops and the correcting it back to what it was originally. However, it's probably better to have a few issues posted that don't cause a lot of discussion than start skipping issues and miss an important one.

An additional thing I'd like to see you do is try to get community feedback on outstanding issues and problems in the game. Granted, there's lots of threads where people provide feedback and ideas for improving the game but they often get lost in all the other discussion, rants, flames, etc. It would be great to see some more moderated discussion about the future direction of Ryzom. Perhaps some polls created by you about what we'd like to see in the game (thinking of big picture stuff, not just bug fixes).

I agree that they need their own section somehow.

Also, I agree they could be a bit more moderated than the rest of the general forum. They should be separate and stay at lseat mostly on topic. They won't be any good to the devs if there are pages full of more personal disagreements that add nothing of value to the development issue.

heh most dissagreements on this forum are a conflict of opinions which is great feedback for the devs believe it or not they can see the pro's and con's from all sides and decide thereselves aslong as there english is better than the translation of some of the bugs/fixes were being asked to comemnt on
