This is the 4th crash in two weeks, I think, and 2 of the crashes wiped out several guilds (still not fixed) an other rolledback people (fixed) now what can we expect from this one I wonder.....

At 6:00 am (Paris time), there has been an electrical failure which caused all the US servers to reboot. For most of them, this went fine, but the backup server did not rebooted correctly. And we can't reopen the US shard without the backup server.
There are a few things that I am unclear of here. You say at 6am Paris time. Does that mean the electrical failure was in France? If so, why would any problems in France cause a problem on the US servers?
If the electrical failure was in the US why did it effect the servers at all? Isn't there a power backup system? Something doesn't add up here.
