I like this idea :) I agree with Spriteh to an extent, but then I also wonder if we could influence the kitin activity with our little council. If we start gathering this kind of information, and compiling it for the sole purpose of tracking Kitin activity, we can make the CSRs and Devs aware of it via these forums. Those guys have ultimate control over what happens on Atys, and although they obviously have their own storylines planned, that doesn't mean we can't influence those events along the way :)

So if we do start collecting this information, it may be that Ryzom provides us with the reason for doing so, via more regular 'extra Kitin activity', for example. Or maybe doing this could influence the previous style of crating/fighting/camps event, providing twists to the info given by CSRs. This could lead to more puzzle-based action events, but with a council we have a potential means to make all of those events a success, by having a way of gathering and passing information more easily.

Also with this being a Kitin Council, and not just a council of guilds, we can try and help unguilded players to get access to the info we collect.

Some of that may be wishful thinking, but it's nice wishful thinking...

Aye this is a much needed thing, obviously not all guilds will make use of it, but knowing where the Kitins are gathering and how many is very useful info.

This type of info could even help avert an invasion...

(whos to say the devs won't have to call off an invasion if all the kitins are slaughtered before it happens ;) )
