I enjoy playin ranged very much although i have never been realy a tank or caster type person. I agree with the post above that in a group you cant add significant damage but i find my role quite usefull support. i generally hang around at the rear doing what damage i can being ready to taunt off the healers if they get aggro or if things go realy pearshaped speed run away and try to come back and res.

btw i have always stuck to rifle for the reasons mentioned above, ammo cost weight etc
