Character Storage

I was anxious to get back into Ryzom (I was in the beta) and have recently gotten in the game at home, despite the hurdles of a dial-up modem. But in a short while, I shall be returning to school, where I will continue playing Ryzom. I will have to install the game on that computer (and I did read the license agreement - I will uninstall it on this other comp), and I am wondering if my character will transfer or if I will have to start over again. That is, is the character information stored on the user's computer or on the Ryzom server?
