Ryzom website and ryzom_recover.exe stalling

It's now 4:50pm Pacific on Jan 2, 05. I've been having trouble all day getting these forum webpages to come up quickly, or at all. I've just started to try to get ryzom_recover.exe to download and fix things that may be broken. It keeps stalling during the third file, the 5218k one. Every time I try to run it. I get stuck there. Do not pass GO.

Is there something wonky with the Ryzom servers that run this stuff? I haven't tried logging into the game to see if that's screwed up or not yet. Kinda wondering if it'll even work as I'm only partially through running ryzom_recover.

I thought it might be my ISP, but I can click on any other webpage and it pops right up. No delay. I even switched to my more reliable, faster modem and am having the same problems. It's even on a better, more reliable network.

I posted this here as I don't get timely, helpful replies over in the tech help forum. Will this even get read until tomorrow morning when it won't really matter to me anymore because I real life starts again and I won't have any time to play for weeks? Thanks.

Sometimes Ryzom recover will stall up to even 5 times before it starts to work. Try it a few more times before giving up.

I'm assuming you're running recover for problems with the client and not the forums, as recover has nothing to do with the forums. You didn't state what you were running recover for. If it doesn't fix your problem, whatever it may be, then please email technical-na@ryzom.com for more assistance.

I was trying to run it to fix my game. I've tried everything to fix my game. Thought I'd try this one last suggestion. Oh well.

As far as sending an email to technical-na@ryzom.com, I've sent many. I've only recieved one reply and it wasn't an answer, just asking for one more bit of info. I still haven't recieved any help with my Klients login, or any sort of reply to try to help me fix anything, or to tell me they are working on it and to be patient. Nothing. I could send in more emails. I could send in an email an hour. I'm just wondering if it would do any good? I really don't want to sound negative, but I've had no reason to be upbeat.
