New Packer

Post by bcharles »

So, I just bought myself a new packer. Feeling extravagent, I bought the most expensive one. Having done so, I have no idea what I got for my money. His pack is the same size as my old packer, so what was the extra money for?

The new packers layout is actually no more than increased resists to magic / attack and high HP, along with high life regen.

For instance, the cheapest packer wouldn't stand a chance agains a baying gingo, but the most expensive one can evade them rather well and live long enough to get the dang dogs off them.

Thats what you paid for.
For those who know about today, I have a supprise for you tomorrow.

In response to the ignorant players out there:

I have more heart than anyone would know :) I will let you in on a little secret... I am doing this for my newborn daughter... no one else... I like that game, but I do not have the time anymore. My first priority is to my daughter. End of story.

I got the upgrade on ATS and it was a TWO star purple con, bought it on live server and was disappointed, needless to say...Live server model was a TAD less ubber.

On a good note, they swim VERY well, and have enough HP to actually GET them to the water. Nice SAFE place to park the mob bait.

Just like I said, they have enough HP for them to survive the trip to the water. With lower HP models, you MIGHT get agro, and they MIGHT die on the trip there.

With the LOWER HP models, I used them as an IN stable ONLY banking system, without cash options of course.

the cheap packers die when you blow on them and the top of the line model can actualy take some substantial hits and give you enought time to store him in the safty of the magic water.

I'm still pretty ignorant about packers. If one dies, can they be ressurected? If not, are you out the entire 100K+ (for the cheapest one) that you paid?

Thanks.
