Hi! I'm Sami and I live in Varkaus, Finland. I'm currently 18 years old but I turn 19 on 5th of January, which is not so far away. I attend a local High School and plan on continuing studies after graduation. I'll go to army first though.

My previous MMORPGs experiences include AO, RO, Lineage 2, RYL, Knight Online, MU Online, D.O., Legend of Mir 3, WoW, EVE-Online... Maybe some others too, but I can't remember more right now.

I'm new to this game as I'm currently on trial account. That will change very soon though as I have already ordered my boxed version of the game on courrier service so it should be here very, very soon. Hopefully on this Thursday.
After receiving the box I'll go with 6 month subscription plan and plan on playing at least an year or two. Possibly more, but we'll see how Ryzom evolves during that time!

My main character is Eriko, Female Fyros.
Level 28 Fight, 8 Magic, 7 Craft and 11 Harvest.
Needless to say, she's still in Noobie Island

RL I am a 32yr old programmer working for a company writing integration software for insurance companies.

As a hobbie, I write childrens games and arcadia style mimic games (aka otherwise known as generic 80's clones)

I also, when time permits, write melodramatic roleplaying articles for a few friends of mine who do comic strips and need storylines.

My life is pretty much boring from all aspects, other than my children, I currently have 3, at 11, 9, and 3 years of age.

Life threw me a few curveballs in the past few months including my wife and I seperating, so now I spend a little more time playing in the Matis lands harvesting from night to night, and crafting everything I can every few nights.

I do tend to keep to myself in game alot, but don't take that as me being anti-social, give me a shout if you ever need a low (level 83) level warrior in your group, and if I am not lost in a harvest, I'll do what I can to assist.

I am a die hard fan of the series, even the crappy newer ones (Interceptor or Enforcer)

I do pride myself in beating XCOM UFO on SuperHuman (with diffciulty patch adjustment) a few times by September 30th. That is without using the transfer cheat or any hex hacks.

Some tips to do this: make sure 2-3 guys always have a stun rod on your first terror mission, usually a leader or two there. Of course have a alien contatinment building since the start

I've been about since beta 2 (if I remember correctly). Back in the day I played as Knitcucumber, Knit, and Squishy.

Now I play mainly as Knit (Matis) and Salym (Zorai). I belong to Out Of Cavern guild.

I hardly ever get to play, unlike during beta, as work and going back to college seem to have taken up all that beloved free time. Gonna be a finish/trim carpenter someday. Or a drafter, or whatever they are called. heh

For some odd reason I always seem to be having trouble of some sort with the client or Klients, so I'm kinda just the cursed Ryzomite.

The name "Danadita" comes from a science fiction short story I wrote but could never get published; once upon a time I had dreams... Then I used it for my main alt in Earth and Beyond *observes moment of silence*. I've always been the odd child in my family and among others whose spheres of reality I move through on my journey. I feel myself lucky to be among others here who share somewhat of the things I enjoy.

Heh - Soma is not short for somber. I am that but for the saving grace of knowing a lovable and audacious swashbuckler who can get me killed at the drop of a "what's that?" (hi Raku!) and the sharp wit of a fellow Taurus (hi Oshi!) who is a rock to hang on to when things get slippery.

I've been playing for a couple of months now, I guess, and having too much fun ingame to actually look at the forums
I used to play shooters (UT, BF1942 etc) until a friend sent me a link to GuildWArs, that got me interested in MMORPGs, from there I tried the RYL open beta, and the Ryzom open beta. Guess which one I liked.

Im playing Gillayne, a Matis light meleealist and planning on mastering EVERYTHING!

Unlike Gillayne, Im male, work in the gold mining industry in Western Australia
