Player Skill in 2 handed melee smashing = lvl 124
Player Weapon = Q130
Stanza used = Attack(Accuracy 6, Slow 6) best used with 115 level weapon Credit(70 Stamina, 19 HP)
Success Rate for stanza = 91%
Target = Nettled Timari
Total hits during testing = 15+11+14+14+16 = 70
Targets destroyed = 1+1+1+1+1 = 5
Number of Slows done to enemy in 70 hits = 0
As you see, during the above test, I never managed to get a hit across that would have slowed the enemy. If the attack option would have been working properly, it would be highly unlikely that it would not have occured at least once in those 70 hits.
As I didn't actually time how fast the mob was hitting me, it is my conclusion that: either the enemy is not getting slowed down, or the System Info screen is not reporting it.
(Edit: the later option is very unlikely since I tried the same stanza without Slow and the Timari hit me just as often as with the stanza that had Slow in it).
I would really like "Slow" to be fixed for the sake of any of my fellow homins that would want to specialize in blunt weapons.
"Slow" not working!
Re: "Slow" not working!
its not a bug, its a feature. Right along side with teleportation tickets, 0 count resources in roots and nexus, invalid names etc. etc. etc.
- what was your question again?

Re: "Slow" not working!
What quality weapon does the slow brick your using work up to?
or are you trying to get slow combat from location specific Critical hits? (arms on homins)

Re: "Slow" not working!
I didn't use any target bricks, Only Accuracy 6 an Slow 6. These are best used with a weapon of up to Quality 115. Now the weapon I used was Q130, so I admit there is a discrepancy. However, even with that difference, it is still very unlikely that Slow wouldn't work at least once in 70 hits.moboid wrote:What quality weapon does the slow brick your using work up to?

I got Bleed 1 to work with a Q150 weapon for example.

Re: "Slow" not working!
There was a patch note stateing this was fixed. ie it was broken before and sounds like it is again.
Not really news to you though
fwiw i did have a few hours where it seemed to work between patches but ive not really tested it since. It didnt seem as obvious as a sucesfull bleed and i wasnt convinced i was getting anymore of an effect than a msg in the sys window.

Re: "Slow" not working!
Confirmed it myself recently -- or at least got excited about becoming a tank that could slow and then realized it never worked.
