I'm for the way it is now with a slight change.
At the time, it's called 'Guild PvP', but it's actually not because guild members can attack people in their own guild, this causes big problems because during hunts, you tend to attack your friends if you accidentaly double click them.
It should be made so that Guild members ONLY can attack members of ANOTHER guild.
Besides that, i think it's good to add some tension in the roots now that the patrols are gone, i'm against all forms of griefing but with future guild tensions (Karavan v/s Kami) the roots is the perfect place for in-character guild confrontations.

i put in a suggestion that you should only be able to attack people who wernt either on your friends list in your team or your guild in a pvp area and i was told this is how it should be now apart from the friends list part but it seems it isnt o.0

The other day we had a guild hunt in PR and people accidentaly hit eachother all the time.

All that needs adding is some MINOR reason to VOLUNTARILY visit these areas.
Maybe being able to PvP is enough of a reason in itself?
Maybe the guild that currently protects the harvesters shrine in the PvP area has a bonus of 2% to their guild members' foraging speed. (Same for 2% extra magic damage from the offensive magic shrine, heal amounts, sword damage etc.) ?
Maybe their is a faction pilgrimage point that increases fame by a tiny amount for the guild protecting it?

Realism is not a viable reason to make a game full PvP.. Realism is a bad idea to add to games.. Basis of Real life yes but the more realism you add the less friendly the game gets and if you are adding realism when do you stop? You only get one life per Homin? etc etc
and if you read the game lore for example Trykers are allied to Matis ( old enemys now allies) and seeking to be allies/friends with Zorai...... So that means we want to be friends with a Kami faction member......... So when we go to faction war do Trykers spare the Zorai?
I have not seen or heard about griefers on this server yet.. and i hope i do not I like this game alot and this server with its one big family feel I hope it stays that way and that the GMs here dont try too hard to push the Faction vs faction PvP etc

i can hit 1820 dmg with lvl 2 fire/fire on mobs but only 910 in pvp
was only a random number , if it is a close fight then 100 damage might be enough to kill you
the voting so far is very intresting i am a little suprised that the no PvP choice is so low but it seems most( so far) as i thought want PvP but only conceptually.

i think everywhere and anywhere is a great idea.... having areas round each outpost, which guilds can contest - where if another person outside of guild comes onto your land they appear on the map as hostile with their name and guild.
then not only does the opposing guild have to fight the A.I guarding the outpost but the guild holding it.

All races also have members of both factions (Kami and Karavan) so it's a bit more complex than simply race v/s race. In witherings we have Zoraï tribes that are Karavan allies and Pro-Goo, we also have those that are allied with both Kami and Matis etc. so i think the guild alignments will be very multi-faceted - We may very well have civil wars.
So, the alignment of the nation isn't really the alignment of the people. By judging from the dialogue on the Tryker newbie island, Trykers are aligned with the Karavan out of fear more than anything and probably seek an ally like the Zoraï as a step towards freedom.
My guess is that the storyline will change factions and alignments around a bit as it progresses. It will be pretty exciting.

All well and good except that i'm not in a guild and have no intention of joining one at this time due to the fact that A) I have nothing to offer a guild and B) I tend to like to get to know people before deciding.
You have to be careful who you exclude in games like this. Smaller guilds and none guilded people, especially newbies could be crouded out with full pvp.

Well actualy i like full pvsp. But with a honor pk system to simulate crime. When you kill somboddy of yor own faction you must get an infamus + dp + losing some items. Killing somboddy of the opposed faction = fame points.
Lineage whos good at this. Attack somboddy turn blue and you have a warning. Kill somboddy turn red and my be atackt by ennyboddy whitout consequenses. kill to menny ppl and you have a high chanse of losing yor stuff if you dont get xp to clear the red dot you have become... .
This system workt for a while but when thows stinking Korean and Chinase bots came the whole game whos ruind!
I realy hate Korean and Chinase players they ar almoste all greafers ceathers and lyers.
How menny games ar alreddy ruind cos of this eastern menece?

Realy the most inportent thing 4 a mmo company is to have a clean server with no bots or eastern ip's on it. I will never again play a game where there ar eastern ppl on it i have had to menny bad experiances with it.
I prefer a game where you have bugs and some server probs + medium gfx to a game where there ar e-bay farmers more bots then ppl and runs like a film
Ow and one last thing keep the e-bay nation out of it. E-bay can sell the game but plz dont let them sell monny items or acc's.
