I just don't understand how anyone could advocate giving SOE their money after how they've treated the EQ fanbase all these years, and the disaster that was SWG. *shakes his head* Not going to get too heavily involved in this thread, it's trollbait, but the suggestion that EQ2 is a viable alternative to anything seems utterly ridiculous.

Unfortunately I fear the patch 2 will bring racial advantages and archetypes back into the game and make it not *that* different from EQ2 anymore (visual quality has to be expected equal)

Here is a hint for all the unregistered trolls.

The people with yellow names on the forums.. they're the ones actually paying to play. You'll notice that almost none of them talk about quitting.

The turn over on so many other MMO games is rather high. Sure they got the fanbois like we see with unregistered names. But when people leave those games, they don't go back.

Because I play the actual game, I can rather assure you that Ryzom isn't going to be on this year's MMO fatalities.

This game is mindblowing......they taken a gamble releasing it before the monsters from Blizzard and SOE arrive, heck even microsoft and codemasters decided not to bother and cancelled their mmorpg projects in fear of the behemoths arrivals.

I personally was looking at eq2, but im beginning to think it looks like a trip to madame tussouds waxworks, it all looks soooo fake and the lack of pvp was more than enough to turn me away...Dont even get me started on Wow which looks total shiiiiite. Obviously i havnt played either of these so my observations mean jack.

BUT i HAVE played Ryzom and it is superb, dont start crying just cos you cant get your copy just yet, its not only you having the problems - what makes you sooo special we have to visit OUR forums and read your crap?

Go back to eq2 forums and post your mindless, pointless and rediculous thoughts there.
