Error Message At Start!

Ok guys question of the day...

When i start the game it gives me an error message "cant create a window display "1024x764 32 bits" but my settings are already set to this what do i do?

I just subscribed for my trial 2 weeks and the game doesn't launch. It did ok before it downloaded the patches though

Intel integrated on MB here

intel what, nvidia, geforce, 2d chip? in the case of the latter you're out of luck, those aren't capable of accelerating 3d

My documentation says I have

Intel 845GE chipset

That's all I know.

click start -> execute -> run
enter dxdiag then hit enter, check the direct 3d capabilities there and post the resulting log file

I have directx 9.0c and here is the result of the 3d test.

No problems found.
To test DirectDraw functionality, click the "Test DirectDraw" button above.
Direct3D 7 test results: All tests were successful.
Direct3D 8 test results: All tests were successful.
Direct3D 9 test results: All tests were successful.

I had all this before I even downloaded Ryzom.

hm, nice situation, seems rzm is only capable of running with a nvidia or ati card :/

Actually, I fiddled with the configurations a bit and actually got in.

I now have my Display options as follows:

Driver: 'Open GL' (2nd choice)

Parameters: 'Windowed' (with default choices)

It would appear that maybe the patches reset the configuration, so one should re check it to see if all settings are correct.

I surely hope I haven't jinxed it now
