Dodge (a little long)

Does anyone know what increases my chances to dodge? I am in tryker noob Island right now. I made myself some armor from choice mats that emphasis dodge but when I check the stats on my armor it says Dodge modifier + 0.

The 'attack after dodge' seems to do nothing except act as a stanza modifying credit. The info on that states it increases damage up to double. It does no extra damage and if anything I strike for less on the average while using it. I sitting on a bunch of points now because I dont know if any of the other items aren't implemented or bugged.

Another thing that seems to be an issue based on server wide chat is the dodge/parry mode button. If I am in run mode then the run/walk mode button reads walk mode-meaqning that if you want to walk then you click it as you are already in run mode. Now when the dodge/parry mode button states parry (which based on the run walk example would imply that you are in dodge mode) I dont dodge at all. I can only use my effectless attack after dodge and acyually dodge when the button reads dodge-which is confusing.

Additionally I max my stats as availabe so my stamina is as high as level will allow and use mats that emphasis dodge and adversarry opponent dodge which I understand to be decreasing the chances of opponent dodge but mobs seem to dodge alot.

I understand Malus has a negative adjustment on anything and that is why I am in light armor.

So anyone know how dodge works? I am mid 30's now in ranged, mellee and craft and see in the skill tree that close combat will be available and would like to try that if I can get the parry/dodge intricacies down.

I have a feeling that the whole dodge/parry thing is going to be getting some loving soon since it positively smacks of being bugged.
