UK Pre-Order

Hi,

Did anyone pre-order from Game.net and didnt get a pre-order code ?

Or do you only get a pre-order code from the rest of Europe ?

I ordered 2 copies on Monday last week, got my copies delivered Friday morning, day of release but no re-order codes.

Well thats not fair.. I pre-ordered mine as soon as they told us that you could buy the game from a UK distributor.

Thats not fair at all .. come on give the poor English people a code.

Obviously if your from the UK and you ordered from any other EU country then your ok.

Yes this is a very big problem in my opinion too. I feel that UK players are worse off than anybody else. Us UK players had our own (delayed) release date, price plan etc., plus our own version of the manual, just like the American players. Despite this, those UK players that waited for a UK release never had the opportunity to get a preorder code.
Lot of people said that we could have ordered from France or Germany to get the code. I do not think this is the right answer. Why didn't Americans have to do that? They had their own way of getting a code.
Seeing that UK is one of the countries where the game is counted as having been released, and we have our own version of everything, we should've had our own way of getting the preorder code. It seems like we had a choice to make. Either:

- get the preorder code by ordering from France/Germany
- get the English version of manual/game

I don't think that forcing a choice like that is fair. In the end, there was no way for UK players to get their own UK version of the game PLUS the preorder code.

I agree, it's discrimination in my view. When you pre-order in the UK you expect to get the bonus code just like other pre-ordering countries did.

The only difference if you had preordered in France/Germany would be the manual and box being in that language. The game itself is exactly the same, and you could have had your pre-order code. The manual you can get in English in .pdf format off the website.
I agree with what you say, although i think that Nevrax had a problem finding a distributor/publisher in the UK until fairly late on, which is why this problem arose.

ok so what is stopping them from letting the UK peeps have their Pre-Order key if they can prove then Pre-Ordered ?

I can send confirmation e-mails I recieved from Game.net or whatever they want.. What is really anoying.. for me its not the free gift.. its not being able to play on the test server.

Yes I would like access to the test server. After having done both OBs and FBT, I would have loved to have been in on it.
