Teaming Up...

Could some one please xplain what happens when u team up......do u get points when others in the team kill some thing?

In general you have to take some form of active part in the team to get XP.
If you just stand doin nothing, youll not get any. Make atleast one hit with a weapon/spell, or heal someone.

Also, the XP gained gets lowered if high level players join your team, and are higher than you, therefore players of same lvls should team =)

But if you are a heal magician with a high enough lvl heal spell to be useful, you can team with melee'ers who are quite a way above you and still get xp for healing them. Thats the way it should be I think, because mages who are only healers can't solo for obvious reasons

i sometimes grab a healer and go nuke stuff if you have a healer who can keep your sap/hp up you can kill pretty fast and the exp rolls in

Well i teamed up with my son(HITMAN) when he started to play Ryzom.
I used heal while he took on the ragus and gingos and we soon flew up the skill tree .
Now Hitman use's Heal while i take on the Beasts of Ryzom and so we take it in turns cool...
Now we are looking to team up with others to take on the the big guys and join a Guild.
