I'm using the free trial of Ryzom and I have a problem. When I start up Ryzom it tries to run in a small window and it takes me to a screen that i cant see anything on the left side and i think it says file 1/2/3 etc. and the screen has a big yellow question mark on it so i cant play WHAT DO I DO!?

Hi, first: reinstall the game. then go ryzom config programm and check if "auto" is selected in the box where you can choose between openGL and Direct3D. What is your system config? Graphicscard, CPU, RAM etc...
You get an error message?
By the way: It is normal, that the login Screen is not a fullscreen. Fullscreen comes after Charakter Selection.
So perhaps I could help, but please write again what the System Specs of yours are.
See you in Atys ;)

I do not believe he has to reinstall the game for that. My freind had the same problem and all he had to do was set the desktop resolution to something like 1024x768 minimum, then go into into start, all programs, ryzom, config ryzom, then lookfor something I think it says display, and click on either D3D or OpenGL (I recommend trying both to see which one works better for you), then hit apply at the bottom of the box and close it out and restart the game. Also make sure your screen size in the config is the same as your desktop resolution.

I agree with Lexi. It sounds like a screen resolution issue. I had a similar problem (albeit I didn't see anything like this guy describes) on a computer running at 1600x1000. The game ran fine when I brought the resolution down to something with a 4:3 ratio.
