Chapter 2 - The First Installment

Major Patch Preview:

There will be a major patch on December 14th. This patch provides a number of improvements to the game and introduces the first of the three sets of Chapter 2 features.

The patch highlights include :

- Three major new 'bosses' who, when defeated, yield unique new equipment to their opponents
- New hairstyles and tattoos available from the NPCs about town
- Theme music for the different towns
- New 'tougher' pack animals available from the merchants capable of withstanding the attacks of bigger adversary
- A set of important landscape collision improvements for the Fyros territory
- A revamp of the parry systems and of shields in the game
- A first set of improvements to range combat
- A revamped graphics for some of the common scenery in towns and villages
- In-game mails and forums - having been absent for some weeks, these are now back
- A set of features for events that include event chat channels, faction-based PvP, and more.

This is what I originally wanted to do rather than melee, but this initial system was completely insane.

I'm hoping these improvements make ranged at the very least a viable means of combat. I can't wait to run around the jungle with a shotgun

Mounts? I haven't seen mention of mounts since the early tease.

Is there an Used Mektoub Dealership?
I have 3 older models, mint condition, no swaybacks, good temperment and low mileage. Great starter packers... I only took them out on Sunday to carry packages and can goods to church.

Mounts are do to be released approximately January 8'th or so (last installment of patches)

I would imagine another stanza reset on the 14'th do to the new ranged skill sets, but this is only speculation, or they just might give bonus points to people, who knows.

Either way, its looking very promising, kudo's to the first installment effors.
