In theory (quantum mechanics and quantum entanglement ) its possible for a human to be teleported but due to the fact the human body consists of Trillions and Trillions of Atoms and at the moment we currently cant teleport just one single atom though i have heard that a place in switzerland has managed it or is very close to ( Particle accelerator complex cerns swiss). It is possible for man to teleport photons of light, the process of teleportation is similar to that of what you seen in star trek of totally taking apart and destroying the photons (and possibly atoms in teh future) and replicating this in another spot. Now in the science communtiy there is some disaggrements/arguments wether or not this is actually teleportation due to that the reconstructed photons are actually a replica of the original photon but the theory stands and photons of light where first teleported from one spot to another in 2002 Australia after breakthrough technology in 1998 by the USA.
