Some good news

Post by aelvana »

Apparently the error in dodge that they found and fixed was what combat needed. At 110 fight, I can stand there with a gingo that gave me 1.3k beating on me and hardly get hit. I guess this means no more can't leave town cause of dogs stuff? 8)

EDIT: It was a menacing gingo, just checked my backscroll. I had to move and didn't loot.

accuracy works to adjust mob dodges with ranged combat now. No comment on if it's enough or not yet.

Then I was talking about something different. But low and behold, teleport to Yrk to test it, and much weaker scowling gingos hit much more often than mobs my own level. Tried another, same. Guess the lowbie dogs are still a problem.

that doesn't mean hitrates for dogs wasn't adjusted :P just that accuracy affects dodge chances now too and they may have fixed the misplaced decimal in the dodge rates for ranged weapons. All of three mobs before I had to leave for work though is too small of a sample to judge, I still think it may scale to unhittable too fast for ranged weapons once I do further testing with mobs higher level than 120.

Doesn't seem like armour mods for armour etc have been affected or implemented though.
