well, the servers down as of now, and they again havent told us nore does the status show it is down,

how god damn hard is it to let people know the servers down.

they have let us know check the announcments topic : patch 27 you wont like what you see there tho =/ a 9-17:00 patch for 1 lousy command and some "software/hardware" updates lmao its a joke what crap they feed us with what they really mean is the server will be down for 1 french hour from 9am gmt which will take 10 hours in any other country

Well im using this oppurtunity to do something constructive liek go to the gym and go swimming spend some time with the girl taking her out for lunch then go for some beers and even out my calories that i lost while swimming

so my day aint gonne be wasted

if i ever had to write a book on you coin i think itd be something like this

my day is spent looking after 2 kids so you really cant understand how much this "free time" on ryzom means to me when you get yourself a family and a wife youll soon find out

I'm sorry, I started out being constructive, even though you haven't been. Then you continued being unconstructive, quoted me, and then had no relevant message beyond further describing something that you had previously posted, which was unconstructive in the first place. Please, don't try and offer advice if you can't follow it yourself. Or do you need help in proper trolling of forums, because you just seem to be randomly flailing at anything. Trolls generally have a tad more focus and direction than you are exhibiting.

trolls? lol you been at the mirror again havnt you? i am being constructive in all my complaints im opening the eyes of the other players as it seems they like to lay down and be shafted by nevrax i have never played a game in all honesty that will take 10 hours over a patch unless its a major one like a server wipe which took nevrax 2 weeks to do so you see its constructive.... in a way if the devs had as much enthusiasm and helpfullness as the guides/gm's this game would be great

Your basis for posting goes against logic, reason, and pure common sense. You carry the attitude of a child throwing a tantrum. Enjoy screaming for attention, continue to pay and play this game that is giving you so much frustration and displeasure, that you feel you must go and spew forth as much negativity towards anything that you don't like about the game. You are no longer worth the effort speaking reason to, since you have shown to act against it.

lol this is nevrax we are talking about here 8 hours is the eta 10-15 hours is how long it should take translated in to real hours not french nevrax hours

helbreat really dont comment on nothing that you dont understand your assuming that these hardware software changes are small and tiny like sticking a new module of ram onto a new PC. Your comparing there server/db farm to you rebuilding a pc lol.

As far as im concerned I pay for nevrax to get the best out of there servers and expect them to upgrade software or hardware to increase performance etc etc (as long as it does hehe).

As you said it can take you less than 1 hour to rebuild a pc well your a super human i rebuild upgrade my pc and with out any hitches (which dont always happen as ive blown a fair few of hds and processors *hazard dont drink and upgrade* it usually takes 3-5 hours depending how many hard drives im formating, what type of partitions im using etc

Hardware twisting screws 15mins
Format a 120gb HD apprx 30 mins
Installing Xp apprx 30-45 mins
booting up less 15 seconds
Bios settings 5 mins
booting up again 20 secs to windows
Installing updated drivers for mobo, network, graphics card etc etc depending on internet speed 30mins - 2hours
Installing SP2 (which is an utter pain in teh ol booty i dont even have an estimate times as ive downloaded and installed from cds so many times)
Copying all files from old HD to new HD as i like to have the fastest and latest HDs and dont use my old HD's as slaves usualy - 45mins

and this is going all smoothly no dodgy driver installs no SP2 installs no registry probs when HD's copied, all games working smoothlys and progs working smoothlys. 10 hours is an ESTIMATE so that they can count for any unknown gremlins that might occur during software uogrades etc but of course you being so perfect and all this never happens and you obvioulsy have never been taght the three B's, because if you were taught the three B's them im sure you would understand why you are taught the three B's

yeah im an alchoholic bum yes im also very rich thats why i can be a bum but then I have worked hard in last 11 years to get where i am today Take your kids out to the park play some football or have a run around (though if your uK it is chilly and rainign per usual so take them out to the pool or the cinema) but do something constructive even clean up the hoose though i dinnae wish that evil on anyone then come back later and play its not the end of the world and if the devs feels the servers need upgraded so be it, i feel my pc needs upgraded every day heh

And not im no longer single and have only logged round a few hours of ryzom last week due to extra curricular activitys
