Hi im a newbie to this game and just wondering whats going to happen

it sounds fun but id like some information atm im like a level 12 mage or summin getting higher tho

i am a Tryker so i would like to take part

at the moment i recide in dingleton unfortunally for me there arnt any new players around my area so im forced to train alone

So how do take part if i can? I would like to please respond

if you are still in newbieville, you need to get to the mainland using the karavan transporter. However there is no returning to newbieville once out, so its up to u to come or not

hmm how hard are the monster there? will i still be able to level normally like in the trees?

the purpose isnt to lvl, dont expect to lvl much, tho dont worry dp will be turned off during event

there are still yubos and such around fairhaven, so pleanty to lvl on. Not quite as easy as newbieville tho, and as I remember you cannot get dp in newbieville

Note for all those lowish level people who've never experienced a raid before and are afarid of being "useless":

Event mobs tend to be high damage/low hp types, and lots of them! Even a low level spell or weapon strike will kill one so at worst you'll be able to "mop up" at the fringes, even if you aren't tough enough to face the kitin commanders.

There won't be much XP to be had, but fighting hordes of Kitin (there will be literally thousands of them!) is terrific fun, and the massed battles are truely something unique to Ryzom.

Death penalties are turned off during events (i.e. dying won't inconvenience you other than a relocation) and the last few events have presented an opportunity to pick up teleport tickets to hard to get to places, so well worth a visit just for that .

ok im coming now i relised dp is death penalty

and to the question earlyer yes there is dp in newbville as i have 1400 dp myself

im alsoing going to have to acquire a magic ammplifer because mine only is good for spells level 10 down and i just got cold level 2 which is a level 15 spell, is there a shop i can buy this from or will i need to find a player?
