You mean jewels don't follow the 'golden rule' anymore - ql/2 = boost?

eg ql10 = +5 and ql100 = +50 (assuming you put the boost on it :P )

or don't you get the higher XP for crafting a ql100 on a lvl 50 skill

or something else completely random?

What got change with crafting in patch 26, with reference to Sky's 'Boni reduction'?

1. has been like that for a long time
2. degraded items lose more boosts but this has been changed in patch 25 i believe. for example: crafting ql 100 earring with 50 hp boost and it turns out a degraded ql 50 earring: it wont have 25 hp boost as before but probably around 15 or so. i havent checked stats but they might be lowered accordingly as well.
makes perfect sense to me, its probably annoying for some (including me) but degraded items are ment to be crap....
3. You managed to get "overbulked" ie. you had like 305/300 bulk when u started selling them......

i was using speed an invulnerablility together for a very long time so i wish people would stop saying its never worked the moment it stopped working i put a ticket in and the guide who spoke to me put it up to the devs so if it wasnt a silent change howcome the guides didnt know about it?

i could never use invuln then speed but could always use speed then invuln till they silently took it away

Another change I noticed today:

Frippo sap-draining power now works!

You know that green glow Frippos give off occasionally when you fight them? Well that is a sap attack that will drain oodles of sap from you (more than the 750 sap I have).

This wasn't working prior to the patch, which made Frippos a favourite target for leveling elemental XP - no more now though! (Although they are a pushover with ranged or melee! :) )

Actually a good thing - I always wondered what that green glow was - now I know (and thank goodness I was leveling ranged rather than magic when I found it!)

as far as stuff being degrade i have Yet to make any thing that is lvl 90 i will get like lvl 89

or with my armor i wil get stuff like lvl 69 instead of 70

Are you crafting whilst wearing armour buzyb? You may have a penalty for the armour you're wearing when you craft, reducing the success of your items?

Makes sense? maybe. But then please move the split of the jewel craft up to lvl 100 as will like all other items that would make perfect sense as well.

Crafting jewels with a degrading system like that is a pain is the butt and i know why there are not many jewel crafters out there compared to Weapon and Armor crafters.

Jewel only give a bonus since the devs still didnt manage to get the protection factors working.

Well I took my consequeces and wont do jewels anymore. Wonder if anyone still bothers.
