
its right every affliction hits 100% on players, but the upkeep times are normal
this might be due to mobs adding affliction effects on hits and might be related to critcal hits special effects not being resisted(they shouldnt)
if so the devs made every affliction 100% hit chance and just added afflictions on criticals and special mob hits to make it easier for them

my (imo logical) ideas to fight fear
when youre afraid youll do anything to defend youself: allow every kind of self stanza and aura to be used! this way mages can AMS or invul their way out of fear
add immunity to sleep and fear to berserk, maybe make it a necessity to keep it up though. berserked you really shouldnt be afraid or sleeping

these, if they can dispell fear give real potent means against it and should tone it down very much. i wouldnt want to see fear go down the river completely though, atm all i hear is FEAR SUCKS, NERF!!!
